prototype 12-05-2005, 07:10 PM Nice Box. ( i swear the last time I said that I got slapped )
But, the tuner world needs a lesson in "racing stripes". Do a lil homework.
Racing striped were originally put on race cars when both european ( english ) and American cars reaced together....
The stripe was suppose to signify which side the driver was on... for the other racers.
Yet, Almost 80% of the timer I see stripes onthe passenger side here.
Just an FYI. In case you guys ( and gals ) didnt know.

I was there when Randy was putting them on. It was nice to meet you yesterday. Now I just need to figure how to work this forum and try to post pictures of my box. I was the guy with the silver Scion that stop by for the logos. Nice good Randy you do really nice work. I would love to do mine now---lol. Looks very very nice. I may have to come up with a new design for the stripes.
Have fun driving around the Phoenix area with the box. I will try to make it to the meets soon, like to meet everyone.
Cheers Then !
J.

Stripes such as this were popular in the import tuner world back in the early to mid 90's. The fad died after a couple years. To each their own I suppose.
RockBlocker 12-06-2005, 08:15 PM Way did we get way off track or what here.

Its cool cause I didn't expect everyone to like it anyway. Plus I wanted my 2.0 to be different from all of the others.

Mooneyzs 12-08-2005, 08:50 PM Thanks Tim, when Randy was installing he told me that you had thought about something like that. I had no idea before then. Thanks Syxxpac...does that mean I need to switch drive sides now??? :P

Chris, if you want to go right-hand drive I keep seeing the front halves of nissan skylines go through the parking lot at work (on the back of trucks). Maybe you could weld one onto the front of your box. It may look a little funny, but I bet it would move.
Mooneyzs 12-09-2005, 03:46 PM just met with Randy about my box. keep you eyes open for the shoebox. and thanks randy for the brakelight overlay.
Alright you gotta post some pics now.... :P I'm curious to see what you did. I am sure it looks awesome.

The aerodynamics might be a little better, but if you could get one before he ripped the motor out you'd probably end up with a few extra hp.
dudehitt 12-10-2005, 02:09 AM I need one of those front clips for my 510 project, I want to know what they charge for them....
I think he sells the sheet metal for scrap, but not sure. I know they pull the motor, that's why he gets them, but I don't know how much is left when he's done. Do you just want the sheet metal, or do you want suspension, dash, etc.? I'll try to talk to him on Monday and see if he has any right now, and get you phone number or something.
dudehitt 12-10-2005, 02:26 AM  that was stupid, the motor is probably what your after. I checked on az240sx.org (http://www.az240sx.org/forums/index.php?s=0486e2b021cf6d8f6ad2a7388318114a&showforum=24) and there are some SR20det front clips listed for about $2500. I don't know for sure if it's the same guy, but one of them had a huge fueled performance sticker on his truck.
Were you at Arbys on Alma School and Queen Creek the other day? I have a box too, and I think I saw yours. :) How much was the stripe? I was lookin into getting one.
