Madzozs 10-09-2006, 04:47 PM Trying to remember all of the shows/concerts I went to would make my head explode. But here are a few of my favorites:
Megadeth(Right after 9/11, Mustaine came out for an encore with an American Flag painted Flying V. Then he said, "You know there is a lot of talk about Jihad lately. Jihad is just another way of saying.....Holy War!" And they broke out into the song. Oh dear lord was it amazing.
Elton John and Billy Joel(Didn't care for billy, because Elton John was a staple in my dads stereo when I was young.)
Life of Agony a number of times over the past 10 years.
One King Down(local band that got pretty big and did a few world tours. Hardcore/Straight Edge fans might know them)
Candiria(another hard core band)
In Flames(so awesome, a guy was getting dragged out in between songs for fighting and he was screaming to the singer, the singer said, "I'm Swedish man, I don't know what the hell you are saying to me.")
Rollins Band(as well as Henry's spoken word tour 3 years in a row)
mewithoutYou(great band, great shows)
Cave In
Anthrax(I was 12 or so and it still kicked ___)
Shadows Fall
Damage Plan(I was at the show the Sunday before Dime was killed)
and the concert I would have to consider the best ever...
