I just got a pivot baby turbo timer and a Blitz Dual Spec R Boost Controller. I will be raising my boost a little I will raise it to 8psi maybe even 9. I will post some pix and dyno numbers after i tune my new settings. Keep ya folks posted thanks for reading.
Oh and by the way I keep hearing people talk about the S/C and I read stories about it I would like to hear some stories about a turbo and s/c race. Anyway I have yet to bump into a s/c tC but believe me if I do there will be oil shed ahahahahahahahaha. No just making a joke I would love to race a s/c tC! I think a s/c tC would have a quick up one me during the first few rpms but once hit 2.5k rpms I would catch up and zip by ahahahahahahahaha turbos are great!

I would like to see you try to "zip by" as badly as you say you would if you only kept PSI around 7. Also, wouldn't the S/C tC need similar mods (I/H/E, etc) to you to keep it somewhere close to comparable?

Ok, Ok guys, I'll stop. Afterall, It's all out of good fun. I think its funny how people get so worked up on forums. Anyway, so MarcyMarc, how bout a truce? I will race you sometime when the weather gets nicer. I have all-seasons on my 18's so I might be at a disadvantage in the summer, but oh well. Anyway, as someone mentioned earlier, you cannot compare a turbo kit to the TRD kit. The turbo kit comes with a header (manifold), downpipe, short ram intake, and in most cases, full exhaust. A TRD supercharged tC w/ intake, header, s-pipe, exhaust, would be more of a fair race. So yeah, as soon as DraXas releases their exhaust with resonator, someone comes out with a competent header that doesn't cause CEL, and ZPI releases their intake for the TRD s/c. We will have a race. Only on a track though. Just for shiz and gigglez

ain't it a PITA to drive your turbo tC in DC? The streets are so short. By the time you spool up, you're at the next light. Doesn't sound like too much fun. I hate drivin my car to DC. Horrible roads, potholes, crackheads, and I always seem to curb rash my wheels from the damn parallel parking.

yea, its like that in most places.. i tend to try to stay off the main roads.. if you've been here, you know it, the streets are short, and the roads suck.
but, it helps me stay off the gas though. i barely get into boost most of the time. and the pot holes, well, i guess they can make you a better driver.. if you look at it on the bright side..
but boy, when i get on to 95, i let her loose..

yeah I can't get more than 21 MPG with the TRD blower

im usually getting around 23-25. i still havent driven around just bangin the gas all day.. i'd hate to see that full tank disappear with only 100 miles per the tank!

I'm thinking there will be a lot of boosted Scions going to MIR come spring. There's several boosted tCs, few xBs and a couple xAs that I know of. Should be fun.

I see you have reading skills, but lets work on your comprehension skills shall we:

I can up the boost to 18psi on my car, drop a 50 shot, and run a standalone computer and "zip by" a Geo Metro. Does that prove anything? I believe the point I was making is lets see if you're as "badass" as you say you are if you race a supercharged tC with equal setups running the same amount of boost.
