Does anyone know if theirs a new rack and pinion out for the tC or if their are any others that fit from other cars on our's or if theirs a company making one for the tC.
Id like to be able to turn faster and harder without having to turn the wheel as much and from my knowledge thats the only way to fix that.

well if the rack and pinion from the celica fits the tC than you could get an aftermarket one, id really like to know, their has to be a car with the exact same design.

There is something else you can do! You can get a steering ratio multiplier unit. What it does is attach between the Steering Wheel and the Steering Rack to over simplify it. If it has a Ratio of 1:2 that means that your turn of the steering wheel lock to lock will be half what it is now.

P.S. It will also make it harder to turn the wheel.

Where you can find it I am not sure.....Have not seen one in person for a few years. However....I did see them use one on overhaulin about a year ago. Might want to email the show and ask. Also check with a few high end race shops.....They are mostly used to give a car a 270deg. lock to lock when there is no replacement rack/gear available. I will warn you though....Will take time to put in and expert knowledge....Not a noob project...Also be careful cause it takes a while to get use to driving a car like that, the steering gets real touchy at speed.
