Just got it Wednesday, Jason and I have been waiting for months.....ok I have some pics but I got to finish the install to really tell the difference..first of all you have a choice of short ram or cold induction...I just did the short ram first because according to Paul @ Injen you have to remove the light behind the battery(when I installed the cold air tube I just removed the battery and the rubber connecting tubes are so tight) to install the CAIS pipe..I'm so happy....probably me and vidale will finish the install this weekend and change out all the radiator hoses with the new SPFR hoses I got from Jon through Brian(beskone) any way here's some ghetto shots...

the first pic is all the pieces, If your not familiar with it, it does seem odd because it doesn't look like anything under your hood when your car is stock....the piece to the right is the short ram, the long piece to the left is the piece you thread down behind the headlight, it's optional, the filter fits on either end...

I hope this isn't a production model, or that the funking pimping helps with the flow of the air =P

The fasteners just arrived yesterday, so the work is really just getting underway right now. They still have to do the new exhaust pipe, as well. Hope you guys have a blast, and take lots of pics.

i really like how it can be switched from cold air to short ram. maybe engine can make an extension for the xB intake to make it a cold air.

It's fairly intense, The performance is dailing in and it pulls real hard from 3800 up to 6k,...now I just need that DC header and I will complete the motor performance mods..(intake,exhaust,header) supercharger....maybe pass on that, I already crashed 1 xA I certainly don't want to crash another.....

stickboy....I got it direct from injen... as far as a price?, check out a dealer...Injen used our cars for Research and Development, so Jason and I have the first production models and we're both been sponsored. He has an auto, I have a manual, hence the reason we were the first to get them.

oh, ok, b@st@rds! :)

This is the intake for me, though... maybe I should get sponsered!
Perhaps febreze would chip in for my springs!

Another thing to remember about the Injen exhaust....I just got back from Injen today. Paul readjusted the cold air intake tube positioning and it fits perfect, but there is a "special way of installing it". The tolerances are critical for a error free install.

1. If you elect to not remove your bumper, keep measurements of the exact position of your battery, If you remove your battery like I did to install the Cold Air extension tube, you will encounter positioning problems. So remember to put the battery in back in the same place or you'll have problems.

2. The 2 rubber sleeves to connect the tubes are different sizes, the larger one is for the back or bend in the intake, the smaller one goes on the engine.

3. You might want to use a tie wrap to secure the connector that sits on the top of the intake.

These are suggestions from the designer and pro installer Paul @ Injen. He's a real nice guy to take some time with me to correctly fix my install. He also took a few pics so you guys might see my car on there site.

Thank you Paul and Injen for using my car for the Scion xA intake. 8)
