supercharger parts

i'm just trying to find out exactly what parts will work with the supercharger. i wanted to order some stuff before i get the car. that way i won't have to buy so much stuff all at once. i need to get suspension stuff, short shifter, & etc. etc. i'm figuring that the stuff i want to get right away is gonna end up costin about $2K. if there's anything i can get right now while i'm waiting for the SC i'd like to do so. anyone have an intake with their SC? is the umnitza the only one that'll work? what other things as far as power can i get to go with the SC? i have my CC catback from my last tc, i'm ordering the CC s-pipe, but i don't think i'm getting a header. i can't find out for sure if the header will fail emissions in NY even with an 02 sim. i've heard that if there's no CEL i'd be ok, but i don't know for sure, so i don't wanna deal with having to remove a header later if it doesn't pass. what exactly would replacing that bpv? valve do, and would that affect the warranty? i haven't been really keeping up on this stuff since my tc got wrecked, and when i did a SC search, there was like a million posts. thanx for any info.
Well for sc what works with it is i think only the umnitza but i do belive scion is working on an intake thatll work with the sc. Duno about emissions in new york sorry no help there from me. There are pulleys out for the sc that adds 2 psi and adds 20-25 hp cost only a hunder $ sounds liek a good deal for the sc, zpi sells them they are reliable but they do remove the temper proof sticker some dealerships wont care others will. I beleive people are trying to find a way around this with heat removing the sticker not sure if this was successfully done.
Oh the stock bpv valve leaks some boost because its a really weak spring boost doenst build up as much. With the new bpv car builds more boost there for it builds boost more throughout the powerd band basicly improves the responsivness. About weather the warranty will be effected by it iam not too sure youd have to ask the dealership or ppl who got it. it costs about 60-100 dollars depends on where you get it from. You can get it froma website which youll have to find search for bosch 110 thread and itll be there or go to a saab dealership and ask for bosch 110 but itll be more expensive at the saab dealership by about 20 dollars.

so the umnitza intake is the only one that currently works with the sc? it seems like that intake isn't really doing much for adding power. might just get a trd filter and take off the bottom part of the stock filter like zpi did in there dyno. i've read that the pulley may shorten the life of the engine-is that true? hopefully an intake that'll work with the sc will come out soon which actually adds hp and tq. things like the nology wires, or the weapon-r ignition equalizer-will they help more when they're added on a sc, or does that not make a difference?
Well technicaly ANYTHING that you do will shorten the engine life, by how much is another question. Wil your engine blow within a year from using zpi pulleys? unlikey BUT they do produce more boost = more strain on engine but its only an up to 8-9 psi. someone on here told me that you can safely run the sc with pulleys as a daily driver

has anyone added the camcon to the supercharger? would the gains be higher on a sc'd tc than compared to a stock tc? that should also give some nice gains. i really wanna find an intake that'll work with the sc and also a header. if not, i'll have a full catback and no intake or header-just doesn't feel or sound right. hopefully i'll be getting my car by monday at the latest, and if everything works out, i'll have the sc soon after that.

i was looking at pics of the supercharger, and also the picture from the guy who mod'd the K&N to fit with the sc. it looks like the weapon r might fit, but i can't tell for sure. has anyone tried or looked at it closely? i wish i had kept the weapon r from my last tc so i could try installing it with the sc.

no doubt. can the tech guys there do the same for me, or are they not going to wanna do that? have u thought about putting in the trd or k&n drop in filter until u get an intake?

i heard that when u install the supercharger, they already use the trd drop in filter. i was going to see if weapon r could fabricate an intake for me. i wish i was closer to them. what i'm going to have to do is take pictures of the intake, with a ruler next to it so they can see the dimensions, then they'll have something to work with.

i just got my creative compacts full catback with s-pipe installed. friggin perfect. sounds nice, simple install, no problems whatsoever. muffler guy charged me $40 for the entire installation. i couldn't be happier. i'm getting my supercharger on monday, and it'll be installed on tuesday. it sounds like i have a deeper trd exhaust on, but it actually gives u a hp gain as well. best of both worlds. this is the right exhaust-hands down.
