Default ===Should I order my tC in BSP or FM?

I'm going to my Scion/Toyota dealer tomorrow for a test drive. Then in about a week I hope to order my very own tC.

But the color is putting me in a dilemma. I have a 2003 Ford Mustang in "Dark Shadow Grey". It is slightly a little lighter than Flint Mica.

Flint Mica is a nice, unusual color. But I think BSP might be best if I want to tint my windows black. If I get BSP, I'll probably also blacken out my rims.

Any suggestions?

(PS) Some of you might question why I'm selling my 2003 Mustang.. I get 14MPG for ONLY 193 HP! Plus with the Rear-Wheel Drive, it is pretty much worthless in the snow.

Getting a Scion tC that has 30MPG with 160HP, Front-Wheel Drive, and a lot of hot interior features... why would anyone want drive a Mustang? Haha.

I looked at a lot of tC's on CarDomain.com and it seems that the Flint Mica's changed to a blue-ish color in different sunlight.

I think I'd feel safer with Black Sand Pearl.

Yea, but with FM, you'll look UNIQUE!

You wont be dissapointed with FM! I get "ALOT" of compliments about how they like my "CUSTOM" paint job, and they freak when i say it came this way! When i went to go look at the tC's here, FM was the first one i laid eyes on! I looked at all the other ones and couldnt find anything i liked about them! FM looks great with dark tinted windows too!
White, Black and Silver- every other car is that color.
I love my flakes on the FM! Its awsome! with Black, after about 2 months of car washing, you start seeing scratches from the scrubber! IMO?
I love mine and will never trade it in for any other color! Not even the red!

FLINT MICA!

well it's his/her choice. and the 'flakes' is pearl.
and those people that have 'scratches from the scrubber',
don't know how to wash/wax properly and will happen to FM owners too.

come to Orlando and you'll 'common'. too many FM's around.
oh well. =)

honestly i like both colors, but it seems down here in cali that they only make fm because that is all everyone has. this discouraged me from purchasing it. i ended up buying a bsp which i love to death, and i love washing it even more, say twice a week. if you dont want to wash your car alot, then get FM! heres my BSP.

I say BSP simply because FM seems to be a pretty common color. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the FM, but you might stand out a little more with the BSP. At least around here, you would!

HUH? r u serious? and you own a FM too! FM is a more unique color than any other color on the tC's. Stand out more with black? i say for about every 5 cars, 1 is black, and he would stand out?

Flint Mica! No contest!

BSP- I hardly ever see them. I like my FM, but there are a lot of them around here in Seattle.

I realize the decision was already made, but I'd like to offer a suggestion to anybody else with this kind of dilema. If you really are undecided between two colors, ask your dealer what they have already allocated to them. They might have one and not the other. Now, let's say you want to BSP but they don't have that coming in. They can still get it, but it will take longer and they can't give you a specific delivery time until they work on it a bit. If its a toss up, take the one they have coming.
