Just as the title states how do you guys think gold or bronze wheels would look on a silver tC. Im sitting in bed with a bad sprained ankle tossing the idea around. Either a 5 spoke wheel or something like that in either 17 or 18 inch size with a trd drop on a silver tc. Would it look good or do you guys think itll look like garbage. Like i said im just tossing the idea around. :eyebrow: Maybe if you guys could someone could photoshop one or if anyone has pictures of one. Thanks for the help.

go gold ftw!

bronze is almost always second to gold for every color imo.

ftw = for tha win!

btw, anything with a nice polished lip will work. heck, even a straight gold wheel would look great. im picturing these right here:

now, you dont have to shell out an arm and a leg for these cuz many companies make the same looking wheel. 17x8 or something like that would be perfect and just plain amazing.

dont do it. would you wear a gold and silver chain at the same time. I wouldnt think so. there are tons of other colors to choose from for a SSM, but anything gold just wouldnt look good.

Gold = Flashy (Show), Unique
Bronze = Sleeper/Racing Inspired

I would go for gold, just my 2 cents between the two colors. I went w/Silver rims though for my SSM. There are pics in my website link.

Yeah, I had the same feelings before I went w/mine. It took me awhile to research what would look good and then just being patient to get them (2 1/2 Months).

My alternate..... Silver or Gunmetal Volk GT-7!!! Then I saw someone on here w/them or some knock off so I went w/some unique but expensive! :nails:

Good luck!

There should be a sticky in the General tC forum, but I believe it is a +45mm offset.

So what would a 17x7 with a 40 offset look like....im sorry for these questions im just not good with offsets. Thanks. Would it look like stock almost? How does offset work the higher the number the more itll stick out or the further in it sits?

It will probably be close to OEM.

Here is some resouce information http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/brochure/info/tmpInfoWheelOffsets.jsp

same related info here...
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/techpage.jsp?techid=101

The experts can chime in here if they want. I'd say stay away from negative offsets, no real use of going into staggered fitment unless you are going widebody or lots of money on your hand for maintenance.
