Hey thanks for buying it, I was at that site the other day and was kinda ripped when they did not even show a pic of the thing.. This is something I think many of us who drive on a highway on a daily basis should invest in.. looks a ton better than I could have even imagined.

Question how about these "Sport Bra"s :lol: According to their site, it has those two vertical things sticking out. What's it's purpose? It's different than what is being offered by Scion as a bra right now.

I don't leave it on all the time Doc. It's only put on for my NY to PA trips on the weekend. So I don't worry about it messing up or fading my paint :D

That bra looks pretty nice.

It's about time someone made a halfway decent bra! I've been talking with LeBra and trying to get them to make us one, but this works even better! I'm not a huge fan of the look of bras, but it sure beats a tore up front end from long trips!! :wink:

Those two vertical things are air pockets to keep it from flapping up and down on your hood

I had a perfect fit bra on my new beetle and was amazed at how much paint it wore off. Keep an eye on rub-spots like around the wheel wells. Dunno which would have been worse the bugs or the rubs.

I have the same bra and have had it for about 4 months now. No paint damage (I have been watching). The only pain is taking the bra on and off after a hard rain, but its an easy item to use and it goes on and off in 10 minutes. My tcm has zero chips in the paint and I drive on the DC beltway every day!

I did not get the T-section hood piece. Instead, I got the short hood piece with the triangular bug deflector thingees on the edge which I prefer. I do not know if you can get the T-section hood piece from them, I could live with either so I made no special request.

I paid $97 as the company is located in San Diego and I had to pay CA sales tax. I ordered on Thursday and received the item Monday.

The fit is smooth and tight like the images above. Colgan knows their stuff. Yes, mesh over the closed grill to protect it from chips but not hide details or the logo. I'm very happy with the product.
