so far the injen intake and dc-sport header have given me more low end torque more then anything else i can notice....pulls harder down low....still needs help on top end

Sorry to say this but think of the engine being your body!! The more you eat, the more you have to go and if you keep eating but can't get it out what happens? And reverse, if you keep going and can't eat what happens. Funny but true!

Why not a cam from the Yaris/Vitz same motor right? I know european and japanse tuners make cams along with a ton of other parts. Why are we so damned far behind on performance parts?

First generation car, every car has to wait a year at least before the good stuff comes out. Everyone knows that.

And to be honest, we probably won't have to wait as long as a normal new model does before stuff becomes available. One reason being Toyota releasing to SEMA members the cad/cam sheets for these cars, so those manufacturers willing, and foward-looking enough to start making stuff were able to without having to have a model available. Thats one of the reasons Hotchkiss and AEM were able to have the chassis stuff and intake ready at the time of delivery. Its a good model and I hope that future manufacturers follow the example.

E.L. Prototypes is also blowning out their Headers and Cold Air Intakes....

For summer only .... $200.00 For the Headers
$125.00 For Cold Air INtakes

I would rather get the E.L. Prototypes headers over the DC headers because the piping on the DC ones isnt as thick as the E.L. Prototypes one...

If you are talking about wall thickness, then you better break out what material each is using. Thicker does not mean better OR stronger.

Think of it this way. We are trying to make smoother free flowing air correct. Basically like blowing into a straw... compared to blowing into a straw with a bigger diameter. Geting intake and headers would be like blowing into a straw through a bigger sized opening only to have the flow choke up on a smaller sized exit. Does that make sense?
Here try this...

Better?
