1) You will pay I think about $700 more for the auto
2) The factory cd player is a cd / mp3 player and does NOT come with the aux input for the ipod, that is an option you have to buy
3) The lip kit I guess you are talking about is the ground effects kit? That is also an option, I believe about $1,000.
4) The 17" dark metal gray wheels are standard.

You can make your own aux input for the head unit by buying a Pioneer p/n RB-10. This plugs into the back of the HU and gives you a RCA-input. Just connect a RCA to stereo jack connector to your idod and you are set. You wont be able to control the ipod through the stereo, but at least you can listen to it!

Here is what I am talking about.

I hope this helps!

IMO, the Ipod HU is really good, but kinda pricy.

As of right now, it might be tough to score an 05. The '06 is $200 more. And, the auto is $800 more than the manual transmission. The '06 has the audio controls on the steering wheel.

The '06 has an aux input for the i-pod in the center console.

They do not come with a lip kit. The lip kit (Ground Effects) is $995 from the dealer. (Or, you can go through other parts suppliers for slightly less)

The 17x7" alloy wheels are stock.

Right, the 05 doesn't have an aux input in the front.

You can also get the TOY03 Aux input (I got mine from Circuit City for about $50). It plugs into the back of your stock stereo where a 6 disc changer would plug in and it has 2 inputs. Seriously, do a search for the tech faqs on how to get to your radio...it's easy to install.

Auto well actually be cheeper in the end, unless you don't like racing. If I was going to buy to buy my tC in manual, I'd have ordered all the TRD parts for the manual cars. Clutch upgrade, so on..

But you are correct that if someone wants a nice and plain tC, manual is cheeper.
