Ive been searching for anyone using 18-8's and having trouble finding anything. Seem that most are using 18-7.5. If you have 18-8's could you please post a pic and the offset your using?

Thanks

i have 18x8 axis decades on 225/40-18 kumho ecstas. i think the offset is 32+ with a thinner disk face in the rear to give the staggered look. only issue is the front rubs when the road dips dramatically.

What springs does that rub with?

I'm looking at getting some 18x8.5's in the New Year.

How do you like the tien coilovers? I was hoping to upgrade when winter is over and i want to go coilovers for sure but ive never had them on any car before.

i love em. of course, they're my first set of coilovers. if i get a chance to ride in my friend's tC w/ tein SS's i'll post up again.

i've had it at 3 height settings so far. each time going lower. the ride got rougher with every change but it's still not that bad.

Hey I was wondering what you think of the ride with those 18's. I know that the coilover prolly and some stiffness but I only have trd springs and i was really wanted to go 18"-8" but i dont want anything more ruff then now. what do you think?

i won't lie. they'll make it roughER. but shouldn't make much off a difference. i may be wrong but i think the added harshness comes from the lower sidewalls and not exactly the rims. so the jump from 45 series (stock) to 40 (what i run) is not that drastic. i have a friend running 35 on his 18s and he said it's a lot more harsh.

I'm not sure what the offset is, but they're Nitto NeoGen tires with Tein SS-P coilovers. I took it to a performance shop here to do the alignment and correct the negative camber, and they said they were able to 'stagger' the wheels a bit more, to give it a more aggressive stance (that pic above is actually before i had the alignment done), and correct the negative camber w/o having to use a camber kit.
