* Theres a adjusment on the back, make sure you adjust before re-installing the bumper back.

Driver Right Fog light

First Step is to take off your bumper and disconnect your battery (air bag).
- I used grillcraft's install since you can also refer on it later on taking off the bottom grill
Link = http://grillcraft.com/installs/installs.asp?action=view&install=170
After CAREFULLY taking off the bumper, proceed to take off the bottom grill. then it should look like this after you snap on the fog lights.
http://www.myfruityimage.com/uploads/503e0d087f.jpg
* I highly recommend using a pillow for your bumper :love: Bed Sheets can work too.
Locate this receptacle underneath the driver headlight
http://www.myfruityimage.com/uploads/29bd8a920f.jpg
Use the factory ground with the fog lights
http://www.myfruityimage.com/uploads/e330e8d6cc.jpg
Then connect the harness into it and connect the other end to the fog lights. white is to white wire / black is to black wire, there is no way you can mix the wires since it has different plugs on both.
http://www.myfruityimage.com/uploads/2b9a6531db.jpg
Reverse the installation of the bumper and be carefull not to pull the bumper too far because the supplied wires from the fog kit is just sufficient.
* make sure you try the lights that they work.
Locate this receptacle to connect the switch's harness

Green ->switch
White -> Dash connector
Clear White -> relay
* as shown
http://www.myfruityimage.com/uploads/4a09c27d75.jpg
Then place your switch anywhere you like

Everything Should Work like this

Greg2385 12-15-2005, 09:27 AM To be honest, i hate the yello bulbs. But thanks for posting the DIY.

your welcome
yellow black blue clear why cant we just get a long :rofl:
everybody has clear, i opted to stand out. its not yellow bulb btw. the lens is clear and the refector i think is yellow or the other way around.
TxtC112 12-17-2005, 04:25 AM one question did the foglights help improve the lighting at night. i'm looking at these and i really like how easy the install looks.
WeDriveScions 12-17-2005, 04:34 AM They just open up the light directly in front of the car and low... so they end up filling up the light a little closer to the car... so not really for the long range viewing...
Plus, it's not really cool to run them if it's not foggy... looks cool, but not the nicest thing to do.
TxtC112 12-18-2005, 06:16 AM thats good then i'm really looking for something that would really help me out in the early morning when i'm leaving to work because i drive pass areas that get a lil foggy. also i love the look of foglights like these
tikbhoy 12-18-2005, 02:00 PM one question did the foglights help improve the lighting at night. i'm looking at these and i really like how easy the install looks.
I have to adjust it since its pointing too far down.
yellow light is only usefull during for as wedrivescion said, if you want something to help you drive at night then get the white lens if fog then the yellow.

Hyghgynx 12-21-2005, 09:14 AM Great DIY! I want to get this. Great price. I guess everything you need is included in that plastic bag in Pic #2? I'm not car-savy, so I'm a little skiddish when it comes to removing things. :doh: How long did this DIY take you? Lastly, if/when the bulbs do indeed burnout, can I replace them with say...SilverStars? (Bulb size would be helpful.) Sorry for all the boneheaded ?'s, I just want to see what I maybe getting myself into. Thanks.
TxtC112 12-22-2005, 11:04 PM hey tikbhoy
when you adjust the lights did you screw the middle screw all the way down. i'm just wondering because i'm trying to adjust the lights right now before i try to install tomorrow when i get home from work
thanks

Im not sure what size of bulbs but they dont use the same type of bulb as the OEM kit. It shouldnt take more than an hour to take it off but its really up to you how you want your work to be. i take my time. buts its really easy since the grill snaps in and all the wiring are all plug and play.
hey tikbhoy

I havent adjusted it but mine is facing wayy down, right now i dont have time to take off the bumper because im in the process of putting header and spipe after my sc. check out force induction threads of mine.
good luck tho
TxtC112 12-23-2005, 11:04 PM i just finished with the install, and the only real problem i had was trying to get the bumper back on. it's just because it was only me doing the install and i had a lil trouble with matching the holes back together for the underside of the bumper.
but over all i say it was a very easy install and from the looks of the lights i think i have them adjust almost perfect. i think i'll probably change out the bulbs later when i get the chance to take them off again.
thanks for the great DIY information it really helped me out. good luck with your header install on the SC. i'll post pictures when i get a chance

il post pictures later on to show my carnage before i put everything back together
Weeze-Dog 12-25-2005, 03:31 AM I got one of these sets a couple days after they came out.
FYI is you want these light to turn on with just the parking lights, you splice the yellow wire into the green wire. You can use pliers to remove the yellow wire and pin, cut the pin off and use a T-tap to splice into the green wire.
anyone have pictures of this at night?
nakanari 01-15-2006, 03:48 AM question is the aftermarket foglight lighting is good? do u need replace some aftermaket bulbs too?

heyitznosaj 01-18-2006, 02:29 PM is it possible to wire these so you can turn them on without any another lights? These are nice for the $$. May have to look into buying a set for myself.
tC9o9 01-18-2006, 05:56 PM i think my OEM's light up as yellow... however have a different beam pattern. it looks nice, and sinc e that is onl a yellow housing, think of putting in a yellow bulb, that woulb be YELLOW
apexjr 01-18-2006, 08:26 PM Could you post a photo of how it lights up the road at night from beside the car looking forward.... preferably without the head lights on.
Thanks.
any updates on this? I really want to see how the black one looks like...
tikbhoy 02-08-2006, 07:31 AM black ones look naturally smoked.
you really cant go wrong with the price.
yellot00tr 02-22-2006, 12:50 AM anyone know what size bulbs are used in these fogs? the pass side fog light already went dead on me. really annyoing-i've had them for not even 2 months yet. also, for everyone who has them, have u noticed that the center of the lens is turning color? mine is getting all dark-looks like it's being burned by the bulb or something. doesn't look right at all.
tikbhoy 02-23-2006, 09:04 AM i would say your the only one who posted a problem about it.
no clue what type of bulb. but i would check the lines for power, it may be loose connection. as far as bieng burnt , no clue either. posting a pic would be nice.
I still recommend the lights to anyone who wish to get it.
Illini4013 09-11-2006, 08:59 PM I have this fog light kit on my car, and recently the passenger bulb went out. I took off the grill, even took apart the back of the light fixture, and can't for the life of me figure out how to replace the bulb. Does something pop off from the front? Any help would be great. Thanks!
heyitznosaj 09-12-2006, 02:43 AM It's a H3 bulb. Perfect chance to replace them w/ some yellow bulbs or HIDs ;D
MountScion1 09-12-2006, 04:28 PM cant see the pics here at work! Will have to check this when I get home, i've been thinking about getting fogs for the last month now
raWr215 09-12-2006, 04:34 PM pictures don't work, :T
MountScion1 10-01-2006, 04:06 PM the link for the sale is dead too.....crap
Shogun 10-05-2006, 04:45 AM yellow light is only usefull during for as wedrivescion said, if you want something to help you drive at night then get the white lens if fog then the yellow.
http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/phy99/phy99xx4.htm
This guy says that, because of the properties of light, the only real reason to go yellow is for the look (JDM).
I know it was a while since being brought up but might as well make sure people know it.
samichmansTc 10-15-2006, 07:21 AM well i just wanted to know if the PIAA P-9000 will fit the tC. anyone?
Danger_Darren 10-15-2006, 07:48 AM ^^x2
