Just over 10k on the odometer in 4 months
Most of those miles driven for work, because I am still having difficulty getting the people in my office to understand the magical "map" thingy.
Just for clarification, I work as a computer tech who goes directly to people's homes and businesses to fix their pc's. Some days I get lucky and I don't have to drive far, most days the morons in the office think its just peachy for me to drive 150 miles in a day, grr
Can anyone beat me for time taken to reach 10k? Heh.

Wow...you guys do drive a lot...I have only 4000 and I've had my car for 6 months...well my commutes are not that far...I guess lucky me for saving $$$ on gas. Gas these days are ridiculously high...remember the days when gas prices were just below $1/gallon?
Check with your tax preparer about mileage. I understand the IRS went up to 48.5 cents per mile a couple of months ago. If your company is reimbursing less than that you may be able to take a deduction for the difference. Note: I am not a CPA so this cluld be a bunch of crap, but as a general rule business expenses not reimbursed are deductable.
