Here is my boost gauge. It was a pain in the ___ to do and at some point I managed to brake the screen above it; however, sits nicely in place now. It looks absolutely stock because of perfect fitment (not even a hairline gap), lighting and color matching. The temperature controlls were relocated to center console. I even managed to keep the backlighting in the regulator knob. Next step are EGT and Oil Preassure gauges in interesting spots.
The reason for not using the pillars for gauges is because I have to keep my panels as flat as possible and consistent on both sides. If I shape one of the sides, I will loose some imaging in sound. As you can see from my sig, sound is my #1 concearn for the car.

THAT IS AWESOME.

I have been looking for a place to put my boost gauge. Plus I like the new spot for the temp control. It actually makes sense. And is the way BMW is starting to do the controls.

Nice setup. Wish I had the time and patience.

One word: "very"
I just did a mockup plate for the other two gauges. All I need to do is to make it out of the propper material. I also need to buy the other two gauges. I am already over my budget for this month.

Rick: Blitz DCII Racing Meter. I really would not advice anybody doing it themselves unless they posess some strong fabricating skills.

wow...din't expect a lot of excitement about this but thanks guys!

You just need a 15pin male/female harness (to be able to reove your center console easily) ans some extended wiring for the LED's and actual temp controlls. Now getting the knob to light up is tricky.

Yeah one and only. That is the only way I can adjust the gains without removing front seats every time.

I am currently working on other two gauges mount ;)
