awesome pics. I like the way the macro focuses on one spot and blurs the rest. very professional looking pics.

Sorry for the PM but since I only have 45 posts and the off-topic threads require 50 posts, I wasn't able to reply in that thread. Anway, love those pictures...they are great! If it's cool by you, I have pic #2 (my favorite) set to my background. Also, do you mind if I share the pics with others?
Thanks!

Awesome shots! I've tried to get a similar shot once, but it wasn't cold enough. The snow started to melt almost instantly, so the individual flakes didn't have any clear shape like yours. Great job!

IMHO I like #2 best. The slightly off-center flake is in perfect condition and very sharp. I like the composition of 3 but it is a little "too white" and the first one is nice also, just wish there was a "focal flake" like in #2. All very nice

well can't really mess with mother nature and her snow flake placement
and i'm really still tring to figure out why my macro feature does things like that like this for one
yeah yeah yeah i'm going off topic in my own thread
it kind of errks me when the fender should be in focus and its not :(
from the above shot it looks like you centered the camera more towards the street, which is why the fender is blurry and the pavement is nice and crisp. does your digi have a focus setting like center or multi? When I use multi focus on my digi cam it gets a few different focal points on the pointer and makes them nice and crisp.

i don't think so,
mines just a simple, point and shoot camera, with some neat features
I like number 2 the best. PS cameras are getting really good these days and have come along way. Keep it up and you will end up with a SLR like me. Damn lenses can get expensive, LOL

i like to keep my cameras small and easy to point and click
