As for the North South engine lay out & being FWD. A few other companies use that style. Its the way the tranny is set up that keeps the power going to the front wheel not the rear.

i was about to say my moms intrepid is the same way. it's rare that rwd use longitudinal mounting but it happens i just didn't klnow that the legend was that way.

6 speed is a dime in a dozen , there is alot of the 5spd MT that not alot of people pay attention to.

Mine was 4spd auto still was great and definetely hauls ___!

I always loved the look of the motor in that car. Looks like some high performance RWD car especially with that Type II badge.

Yup, i was the first one to have it customized onto my car... then many people got the "veilside", and it got sooo played out. I would be sick of that body kit too if I see it around today LOL.

It was my commuter and it was great. I ended up selling it after I bought the xB. I miss how small it was. Also, the tiny steering radius. Good car, wouldn't mind another.
