transit strike
omg.. i actually drove to skool today since i missed yesturday and my mom came and got the car and left me with my skates...and my skool is all the way on the other side of the bx...damn i thought the tranis would be running by now. i thought they did it just to scare the city..now we the power of the mta workers
I actually lucked out...I got to St. John's University in Jamaica, Queens, and my last final was last friday! Thing is I commute everyday from Suffolk County, LI to go there (I know...I'm crazy...lol). So I lucked out on hitting all the traffic, etc.
My dad commutes everyday into the city though, and the past couple of days he has woken up at 3:00am to beat all of the traffic and vehicle restrictions!!
I am in a union...Laborers Local 79, but personally I don't like Unions and what they do. This is ridiculous how they are doing this and breaking the law, and plus its around the holidays too.

I was wondering if the news painted the picture correctly or made it out to be worse than it really is, sounds like they're about right. Feel sorry for all your yankees with christmas so close, hopefully that crap gets squared away soon, like now.
