Default Loss of torque with Greddy Evo Exhaust?

I just installed my Greddy Evo exhaust and it looks really nice! My question is if there is a possibility that I lost torque. It migh all be in my mind. I have only driven it a few miles since installing the new exhuast but it initially felt less torquey. Is there an adjustment period for the car with this install like there is for the CAI? Thanks in advance.

There is less backpressure which reduces the feeling of some bottom end. You make it all up in the top end though.

the exhaust itself isn't going to make a noticeable loss or gain. The biggest factor as far as bolt ons when you talk about messing with the powerband is header(s). Well, one of the biggest to factors anyway.

4-1 = mid-top end gains, loss of bottom end.
4-2-1 = usually mostly low-mid but rarely much loss in top end.

For exhausts, sometimes you'll loose 1-2tq depending on piping size and axle vs. cat back, but 1-2 isn't enough to actually tell a loss.

Either way, have fun with it.

Well there was actually a test done on here and it shows that the Greddy exhaust gives you 5-7hp and 3-4lbs of torque. I think that is noticable. I think mainly the sound is throwing me off because it sounds like it's working harder than before but that is just the exhaust.

On a stock 2az, it saw 5-7whp? I seriously doubt that regardless of your "tests". The only tests i've seen here regarding the 2az is, h/e, i/e, just intakes, just headers, and then injen vs. trd. You could be right, but i dont see 7whp coming just from the evo. maybe i/e, i could see that. But, either way 5whp you really won't feel on a 2,905lbs car. You may feel a slight, very slight difference, but yeah. Usually, when you can hear the exhaust note climbing it gives the illusion that your faster if you're not used to moding a car. I.E if you are a newbie to this.

LOL, I was saying that the extra sound actually makes the car seem like it is working harder and therefore not as fast; hence my original post. Me being new to this would effect the way I hear or the things I feel? Search and you can find the dynos I am talking about.

Newbies do strange things, so yes and no. I remember someone IMing me asking me if a CAI puts out 10whp because the difference was night and day and he wanted to know if he should tune his motor. Needless to say, it was a long conversation with me explaining pretty much everything he needed to know about tuning, when you need to tune, cai, blah blah blah. I dont need to search.

The car does not work harder just because of an exhaust, nor does it make it as fast. You will have gains just not on the "butt dyno" as someone else put it. If it was a full system (header-tip), then there would be much more of a signficant difference providing piping size and bends were done correctly.
