Loss of torque with Greddy Evo Exhaust?
I just installed my Greddy Evo exhaust and it looks really nice! My question is if there is a possibility that I lost torque. It migh all be in my mind. I have only driven it a few miles since installing the new exhuast but it initially felt less torquey. Is there an adjustment period for the car with this install like there is for the CAI? Thanks in advance.
the exhaust itself isn't going to make a noticeable loss or gain. The biggest factor as far as bolt ons when you talk about messing with the powerband is header(s). Well, one of the biggest to factors anyway.
4-1 = mid-top end gains, loss of bottom end.
4-2-1 = usually mostly low-mid but rarely much loss in top end.
For exhausts, sometimes you'll loose 1-2tq depending on piping size and axle vs. cat back, but 1-2 isn't enough to actually tell a loss.
Either way, have fun with it.

Well there was actually a test done on here and it shows that the Greddy exhaust gives you 5-7hp and 3-4lbs of torque. I think that is noticable. I think mainly the sound is throwing me off because it sounds like it's working harder than before but that is just the exhaust.

LOL, I was saying that the extra sound actually makes the car seem like it is working harder and therefore not as fast; hence my original post. Me being new to this would effect the way I hear or the things I feel? Search and you can find the dynos I am talking about.

The car does not work harder just because of an exhaust, nor does it make it as fast. You will have gains just not on the "butt dyno" as someone else put it. If it was a full system (header-tip), then there would be much more of a signficant difference providing piping size and bends were done correctly.
