Default Attn:S-tech owners!!!

Ive had my s-techs on my car already for about 2000 miles and they are great. well just the other day at about 20-30 mph i hear this "clanking" noise coming from my left rear tire or suspension (not sure what it is). i took the car to the scion dealer and they told me that i didnt blow a shock but that its being caused by the springs. Im just wondering if anybody has had a simular sound come from there car after putting on the springs. and if you have, what was the cause and what should i do to get rid of the sound???

every j-body i have ever done eibach coils on has had this issue 3 to be exact but to fix this issue we jack up that side of the car and pull the coil alittle to try and center it more since the coil is so small on the stock strut in the cavi it can move if there is no weight on the strut so that is where that comes it to play might be the same with the stechs since the drop is so low but this issue has never came back not even after 20k miles so im not sure why you just got this out of no where

I'd check to make sure the spring is set in the right position... there is a little notch in the strut where the spring end needs to sit... if it's not in the correct position, it can pop...

Yeah, when is not set in properly it will pop. Mine did that for the first few miles, and after getting it checked it out, it disappeared.
