Hi guys, i was wondering i any of you guys would be willing to turbo your cars, we will be offering a very cheap price to the first scion and, we are aiming to produce the turbo kit for under $3,800. We have been turboing several nissan se-r spec v's and some corollas 1zzfe. I personally like the scion tc i would like to help this community as well but i dont own a tc hopefully some one is willing to get a turbo kit for cheap and at the same time serve the scion community. I've alsi discovered that all the turbo kits just use logtype manifold we will try and produce a turbo header, and make it standard on our turbo kits.

mazda 3? it would not be a bad idea. Bring it over if you wish, you are very welcome.

On the scion we are talking about less than $3,000 for the turbo kit installed. I need to check one out see, all its needed.

good luck finding a free turbo kit.

we are on the verge of opening up a shop we just started 1 year ago, the shop will ve on 360 and abram street, we are just waiting on the insurance company. In the mean time the projects are done in my house, so i cant screw up cause people know where i live. :eyebrow:

What are you going to be using for tuning? Or is that just on us to figure out?

well i havent decided yet if using emanage or an safc, safc should be good for over 300whp. I will also use the walbro 255lph fuel pump. I need to check out what kind of injectors the car uses eithe low or high impedance and its size cc. I will develop 2 kits, the only variant will be that one will work with the stock returnless fuel system and the other one, will use return line. There are many options than should work i also need to find out how well the ecu can adjust to bigger injectors some cars will compensate bigger injectors. I still have to decide all this options with the customer and the wideband readings.

SAFC probably won't work since the ECU will learn over it. I just posted in the tC n/a forum under the tuning sticky with ideas.
From what I can tell stock injectors are in the 370cc arena, I would imagine they are high impedence and supposedly the stock fuel rail will accept up to 720cc injectors.

Stock fuel pump will supposedly flow enough for 550cc injectors.

Switching to a return system and using the 255lph should cure most of your fuel problems and let the emanage route work really nicely.

I would be all over this but I'm a little scared that proper tuning isn't available yet.

safc and emanage work on the same thing they both steal the signal from an airflow sensor if the emanage works the safc works. I read some thing about the tc ecu learning over the piggyback. The only difference between emanage and safc is that emanage will perform more functions at higher cost too. They both work by stealing the airlow signal and by using tps as a reference. You can make both work relative too boost instead of the tps. The cool thing about emanage is that you can control the timing im pretty sure the tc ecu will tae care of that thru the knock sensor.

I just did some more research in this and this is what i found, http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=75539&highlight=safc
another member got it to work.

I also read that the ECU is a smart ECU too, like the spec v ECU it will relearn so more than likely i can use some 550cc let the ecu adjust and they usually keep the ar between 11.5:1-12:1. Then again the impedance thing it takes 5 min to find out, 370cc they are pretty good they have enough fuel to flow up to 260whp, and bumping the fpr with a return line prolly to 280whp@80%duty cycle, i like your stock fuel system , its admirable.

also i need to know how the injectors look like cause i can prolly use some srt 4 injectors as i do on other cars, cheap injectors with great flow. If the ECU can compensate i dont see why your not down to turboing your scion, when the car is a bit rich it wont blow up.
