N600 10-28-2003, 05:21 PM :x i cant find a dealer who carries super advan wheels (yokohama) does anyone know who i could contact to get these? i used to work for the North American Dist, but the company was bought out & the new company went bankrupt & disapeared... we repo'd all the existing inventory in the US, then shipped it back to Japan... sucks really! no one is an "official" deal now days, mostly all grey market & back door deals from Japan, but best place to still get them is WheelOptions.com talk to Vic...good guy & is reliable on getting the real deal stuff. get ADVAN's! they're my favorite wheel... too bad they don't catier to the "Kei" car trend... although the Kreuser Series XII are all for the smaller cars. but they do have some nice styles ADVAN Homepage (http://www.yokohamatire.jp/yrc/japan/wheel/index.jsp) SA are discontinued... Super Advan Gen 2 are the succeeder http://www.yokohamatire.jp/defaultmall/wheel/brand/superad_g2/img/logo.gif if you're looking for an xB fitment they come in 16" only 16X7.5J 100-4-32 in Silver finish w/ the blue accent ring: http://www.yokohamatire.jp/defaultmall/images/wheel/w_yrc_sa3g2_sb.jpg or the pearl white spokes w/ the blue ring: http://www.yokohamatire.jp/defaultmall/images/wheel/w_yrc_sa3g2_wb.jpg i love the way these wheels are assembled, the hardware is hidden by the lip on the disc, so all the hardware you see is in the reflection on the rim lip... very very nice finish....nightmare to keep clean, but beautiful wheel. http://www.yokohamatire.jp/defaultmall/wheel/brand/superad_g2/img/up.jpg lil tidbit, these take 1 hour each at the plant to assemble by hand because of the disc/rim design. BTW: this should be under the Tread & Butter forum. TheRedBox 11-01-2003, 01:49 AM Nice wheels, very expensive. If your seriously, let me know and I'll get a quote for you. |
