question for those who have had it for awhile

1. whats the easiest way to install it, i heard there was a faster way to do it but was wondering if that was true

2. how do you like it after having it awhile? does it give the car that extra little kick that it needs?

there is a tension bolt on top of the tension pulley. use a short socket with a long arm and carefully slowly turn it clockwise until the belts loosen up. while doing that try to yank off the belt off the pulley. do the same process when you put it back.

refer to the sc install manual for torque spec of the sc pulley

Before you losen the belt make sure you losen the pulley. And use an ipact wrench. If you use an impact wrench to get the botl for the SC Pulley loose it will take you about 5 mins to do.

thats correct, i forget to say that since you cant hold the turbine from spinning unless the crank is at dead stop.

also when you do tension it back together go underneath your car and make sure its all lined up.

the service manual requires you to use a SST tool but you dont have to if you have different socket set. it also requires you to remove the fender cowl which makes lining up all the belts easier.

ZPI pulley is the most cost effective upgrade you can have for the tC. Makes the SC feel like it was supposed to feel from the start.

Install does take 5 minutes, especially if you manage to successfully undo the pulley bolt. I used a strap wrench and a buddy to hold the pulley in order to move the bolt without rotating the SC shaft with it. Impact wrench probably will help a lot. I managed to scuf up the bolt a little bit, but got a replacement in 3/8-24 for 44 cents at a local hardware store.

I agree with everything you said right there, just pull out the word ZPI and put NST in it's place and you will be 100% on the money :P

i know both pulley produce dyno proven power but did anybody measure any charge air temp change ?
