Me too, I hate when people say........."Is that a Honda Element" I tell them to read my license plate. It reads "4GETHNDA" :lol: :lol: .

Why oh why would you want to do that???? What makes an xB so great is that the exterior is all real material, not plastic crap that scratches up!!!

I can't even begin to picture WHAT you'd have to do to an xB to fugly it up like that...

Step One: Discard taste.
Step Two: Remove fenders and rear bumper.
Step Three: Paint fenders and bumper with ultra flat black krylon.
Step Four: Reattach fenders and bumper.
Step Five: Realize that your car now looks hideous.
Step Six: Goof-off all that black paint off.

The xB to Element conversion kit was actually promoted by the Dept. of Homeland Security - remember? Plastic sheeting and duct tape... :lol: :lol: :lol:

I guess the easiest route for the conversion would be to make the Elements look like this FIRST:

thats what i said when i read this first. anyway the element does have its cool options and its lame options. you guys may think this is stupid but i think floors/seats i could wash off instead of vacuum would be great FOR ME probably not others. if he was talking about exterior styling than hang it up man you would just be wasting time. btw a baseline element isn't much more than a xb so if you really like the element just get one.

I like the XBs alot. My friend has a RS1.
My wife has a 03 Element & its not crap. its bigger,more power,handles better. The XB & the Element are boxes both have their own strong & weak points.

We aren't talking about power or handling, we are talking about style, and I find it hard to believe that the Element handles better than an xB, especially since the xB is lower to the ground and smaller the the Element...

I'm not dissing on the Element, but everyone has their own taste...

I'll hopefully be picking up a black sand xB in the next month or so (bank approval pending). Can't wait! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has seen suicide doors done on the rear doors of an xB yet? I think that would look cool....

i also want to see a bB kit for the element and a hummer H2 kit for the toyota sienna and a suzuki aerio kit for the mazda miata, and a honda civic kit for the ford focus hatchback.

Suicide doors have been around alot longer then the Honda Element.

I find it hard to believe that the Element handles better than an xB, especially since the xB is lower to the ground and smaller the the Element.
Just looking at them I would have to agree. My friend just got his XB & maybe after he puts some miles on it he will push it harder but from the ride I took in it I think the Element turns quicker. We will see.

Well, obviously they're very different cars, with different market demographics (unless 40 year olds have stopped buying Elements and I just haven't heard yet). And then there's the difference of 50 hp, about 1000 lbs. in curb weight, and available AWD.

Sure, they're not particularly similar cars... but the sheet metal is very similar. I mean, obviously it's similar. Just look at the question. Asking about body kits to make the xB look like an Element. I guarantee you there's no one looking for body kits to make their xB look like a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.

They're both upright, boxy, wannabe SUV's on a car chassis, and are easily the two ugliest cars on the face of... well, America at least. Japan's got some hideous cars that are no for export. They're not the same, but they're similar in design.
