Gonna have a mini-meet going on January 5th, 2006. This meet is open to anyone who would like to come. This will be a time to just get together since it's been a few weeks, but also we can discuss upcoming and future plans for 2006, fundraising, events, etc.

During the meet there will be a little time I want set aside because Scikotics/Seattle will be rearranging the "power structure" (I hate that term but couldn't think of anything that sounds better) and I want to talk to the couple guys I have in mind...

Other than that, it'll just be a nice day to get together with some folks, see how xmas and New Years treated you and just hang. Would also be cool to see a couple of the guys that have just started making posts in the "Sign In" thread out there, especially since we'll be in their hood for the most part...

I'm thinking that Bellevue would be a good central point that won't have too many people driving all over the place and that we could have the meet around 6:00pm.

Since some people may be pretty freshly out of work for the evening, there's a ton of restaurants, etc we could grab a bite at if anyone's interested (either full service or something like Panda Express/other mall-fare. If you wanted to grab a bite I'd say bring between $10-30 so that you're covered pretty much no matter where we go, or you can snag something on the way to the meet.

We could meet in the parking lot but then alwas relocate to inside the mall, a restaurant or whatever anyone has in mind. There's also the Bellevue Galleria theater right there if anyone wants to see something afterward.

This is a year I'd like to see a lot more meets take place, both withinS cikotics and IN GENERAL.

I'd reccomend the new Lincoln Square Cinema over Galleria, they have nice leather seats and it's well, new, but either way! And I'm trying to think were we could all park, the mall would be packed probably.. maybe not so much on a thursday but w/e I'm coming either way!

It opened on Dec. 9th, my birthday, me and my friends saw Chronicles of Narnia on opening night, it was REALLY nice, plus I found out I know a girl that works the ticket counter there.

As far as good movies go? Well Munich was amazing.. saw that last night with my gf, but hmm, other movies coming out? can someone jot my memory a little bit?

Ohh yeah, and do any of you guys know Newport High School at all? Cause that's where I go.

Thursday nights are BAD for me. It's poker night with my motorcycle friends. :) However, this doesn't always happen so if its off next week, I can try and make this but I'll be on the bike. :)

Plus the tC will still be undergoing its acoustic makeover (nope, I'm not telling until its finished, but it should be amazing when its done!). It better be after 4 days of custom work. :)

Getting pretty good response to this between the post, PMs and text messages so we'll keep this one for sure, but we can play around with other ideas for other meets.

I work Redmond typically on Fridays and Saturdays so if you'd want to meet up one of those two days AFTER the meet we could do that too. I work til 5:30-5:45 on Fri and 5:00-5:15 on Sat.

If we're really doing PF Changs were going to want a reservation.. I went there on a wednesday and it was still a 45-60 minute wait, well of course if we're just talking about the cars and meeting people a wait might not be such a bad idea, give people time to show up etc..

I was more or less just giving some details about the menu because I used to work next door to one and I know the menu, and Dustin had mentioned it.

We could do PF Changs. Of course there's also Maggianos, Cheesecake Factory, Red Robin, etc etc etc...

I just don't want the meet to turn into a thing where a bunch of people do the...

Nobody's being strongarmed into eating anywhere... So I'm totally down with a restaurant but if some people want to go but don't WANT to get food we should maybe make that either a PRE-meet thing (and meet with enough time to allow that to happen before 6pm hits) OR after the meet starts to fizzle out and a couple people that just wanted to drop by for a few do just that, then we start talkin about dinner somewhere.

A few people I've talked to say that 6pm is about the earliest they could do something or that the time is just PERFECT for them so I don't want to bump the time to later or earlier because then we start losing people.

Hey Rudy. Like Legendary said we just hang and show what we've done and if you join a club or multiple a lot of times this is the platform for announcements, etc.

Sometimes we attach food to it, sometimes we don't. Just all depends. This one seems like a lot of people are down to eat afterward, so looks like at least some of us will

And honestly, the server may act a little put out but oh well... Like he said, just get a drink and maybe leave a $3-4 dollar tip. You'd be out a total of $7 and honestly (having done 7.5 years in restaurants myself) while I may not be happy you just ordered a soda, I'd be THRILLED that you realized it hurt my tip potential and left me twice the price OF THE SODA as a tip. :)

lol....9 times out of 10 i catch public transit to work. Much better payin $100 for a year pass than paying $100 a month for parking. Downtown is no joke. Me and my friend from work are probably gonna go. It's a really rare event as I've only seen about 6 locations it's traveling too.

Oh and umm, xB's are a lot sweeter than I thought! And err, I need to hear Brad's sub sometime, I'm considering it because of trunkspace, but then again, there was also that really cool post with the site with one that fits in your tool side of under the trunk, looks really clean! They have a sponsored sales thread too and they can custom make basically ANYTHING for you, cool stuff!
