Who here agrees that the tC needs a silver trim around the windows like the BMWs?

TC with silver trims would look hella hot,,but thats y its better going for a black or dark grey tc rather than a white on so that black outlining wont stick out and look trashy. the black tc will cover it up smoothly, and if u tint your windows id say it would actually look better if you didnt have the silver outlining. :D

yeah, i like the black, cause i'm getting the white tC and i'll have my windows tinted so it'll blend nicely. I'm sure there will be sticker kits for that though to put over the black to match your color. (i personally think it'll look tacky stickered on but still)

Although i haven't looked closely enough... i think the TC black trim might be similar to the xB maybe. that means.. u can peel the tape off ...to reveal the body color. or atleast that's wat i'm hoping for..cuz i'm after the white one.

Yeah, Scion=ghetto.

I see them all over the ugly parts of town. That's because these are the cars poor people can afford. The cool factor that goes with Scion styling is an added bonus.

The Ghetto Factor almost made it a turn off for me, then I calculated what my monthly payments would be, and that made me completly forget about that. The fact that my neighbor drives the exact same color xB that I was looking to get did NOT effect my judgment. But now I'm here in the tC side of the forum...but for different reasons.

Didn't you say you drove a WRX? You can't possibly be ghetto if you're driving in a car that has a year starting in "2" and wasn't made in Korea. Check the duct tape holding my upholstery together and the crack dealers on the street six floors below my window and get back to me.

whats your reason?

I'm going for the tC because I commute on the freeway going to work mostly, and the xB isn't the greatest car on the freeway. The tC is heavier/more stable, more comfy with a longer wheelbase and better suspension, more aerodynamic, has an engine that's a good 50% larger in displacement for good everyday torque, has a huge sunroof for those warm days and the AC probably works better for those warmer days...it's just more car overall.

for only about $2300 more.

and it's better looking.

I like the xB cuz it's quirky-lookin' and different, has plenty of passenger space, and gets good gas mileage.

Also, the tC is a brand new car.

It's always cool to have something that's brand new that no one else has.

Nobody here has an xB. I've seen a grand total of one of them on the road.
