View Full Version : To Those With Dezod Kits...
LittleZeke77 12-30-2005, 07:23 AM So i haven't seen any recent updates on how the Dezod kit was doing for all those buyers. I was just wondering if any of you Dezod owners could give me some feedback on how the kit is handling for you. Are there any idle issues, etc.? Thanks in adavance for any feedback.
BreakTheStatic 12-30-2005, 01:05 PM No one has it yet except for joe who works at dezod. They're almost complete and should ship out as soon as they finish the downpipes though.
paul_dezod 12-30-2005, 01:31 PM Yeah....stupid hang ups with materials and flanges have held us up shipping. Good news....they should be shipping in the next few days.
mattssi 12-30-2005, 04:43 PM Thats right _____es!!
Keep an eye on the forums! :)
LittleZeke77 12-30-2005, 05:10 PM Oh thanks guys. I've been outta town for a while so i hadn't stayed up with the progress. My Bad. Well i'm still interested in the kit so i guess i'll just have to wait a bit longer to see how they are doing in other cars. Keep up the good work Dezod.
hPower 12-30-2005, 06:37 PM Good luck guys, I'm looking forward to the reviews as well :)
sensay 01-05-2006, 04:44 AM im also looking foward, but idk... now that the zp1 stage one can be bought for 4k... upposed to like the 3.8k for dezod kit...
jwaggz82 01-06-2006, 12:36 AM can someone explain how much better the turbo would be with the Ball Bearing upgrade.
Joe_Dezod 01-06-2006, 03:50 PM It will just allow you to spool the turbo faster. Ball bearing is great for those who want it to drive like an all-motor car. Without ball-bearing it still spools up nicely. Buy other upgrades like the clutch and PnP harness before the ball bearing upgrade, they're more essential. Ball bearing is one of the more ultimate/final upgrades after you've covered the basics.

Well put Joe. Spend $$ on daily reliability and consistency first. That peice mind goes much farther.

RSracer 05-05-2009, 08:44 PM I've had this kit for close to 3 years... no problems at all. I've boosted from a low 5 psi (225whp) to 17psi (415whp). Dezod's turbo kit is as solid as they come...just wish the 2az was.
so about this alpha kit...
