Default New XB

Last night I noticed scratches on my new Xb's dash--as well as on the **** of the aux. compartment. Looks like they occured when my dealer installed the scion security. I was so excited when I picked up the car that I hadn't noticed. I know the cra is going to get scuffed, but I wanted to be the culprit....

Also noticed that the cargo area is smaller than I realized. Was planning on keeping some maintenance items in the car--like oil, fluids, etc, but there isn't much room.

But my biggest headache so far is having people stare at me when I drive it and getting asked stupid questions, like, will it tip over? Grrrr. Also my friends seem not sure what to make of it; the usual response is, "that's different." For most of them it's the first time they've seen an XB and it takes them by surprise.

Get used to it...just wait until you start answering their questions and they tell you what they think the car is.

"What is that?"
"It's a Scion."
"Looks like a Volvo to me. Is it made by Volvo?"
"Hell no."

Or better yet, when people start asking you if it's an Element. &%$#@*#

You might could fit 2 quarts(maybe) in the under floor storage area.

If you check your fluids often enough, there really is no reason to carry any of it with you. It's a new car and shouldn't be burning anything like oil or leaking anything else either. I don't carry anything like that with me.

always get the neck turners. People have stopped in the middle of the street while i was sittin' at a light, to look - then i have to wave to them to move so i can go!

what is it? the cheapest, baddest car on the road!

The dealer made tiny scratches on my bumper when they were installing my foglights. I got a IOU note for them to repair it. As for the questions...they will continue until there are more cars on the road. Sadly, I think that this car will fall the way of the PT Cruiser and no one will car what it is. Soak up the attention now :D

Thanks for the replies. I didn't know there was cargo space under the seats.

This is a wondeful forum.
