Anyone else buy their scion from them?

I'm interested because I'm wondering how the financing worked out for you.

i had trouble with the financing tho, never received any mail for payment, would have to make payments thru the phone till i finally got acct number and site to just pay it online. should've just ask for the acct number and site instead of waiting on the letter to finally come in.

I had some problems in financing. They told me I didn't need a downpayment, we signed the papers, then I left with the car. Two days later, I get a call saying I need to put $500. I ended up trading in my 1992 paseo. ____es me off that they couldn't have just said that when I was there. They had to WAIT until I was todays with the car to call and tell me. I work 7 days, 10 hours a day, not exactly easy to get down to the dealership whenever they want. So after b****ing for awhile at them, and they said it was ALL toyota financing, they had nothing to do with it, I didn't care. Then since the paseo had never been given a new title with my name on it (it still had the florida title and it was signed over to me) that was causing problems. Soooooooooooo eventually, 2 & 1/2 months later, financing was all worked out after we got the finance manager involved and swapping the title a couple of times and miscommunications. Just a FYI, don't let Verda (or something close to that) do the financing.

Fredie, the salesperson, was very softspoken guy and very nice. Knew lots about the scions and whatnot. Good guy to deal with... financing just dropped the ball.

We are thinking of getting the "black" tC for my girlfriend this year... we MAY go back to Don McGill, but only if we can deal with the finance manager.

I tried to buy mine from Fred Haas, and after three days of trying to get the down payment together they wouldn't sell me the car. The previous Sunday they would have sold it to me on the spot if I would have had the down payment. I was a tiny bit p'ed off. Especially after I called the salesman (who will go un-named) that morning and told him I was on the way with the money and he said ok, and that the car was still available. Anyway, I left there and drove straight to Don Mcgill, which was on my side of town anyway. Went in and bought my TC and was driving it in less than 30 minutes after I hit the door. I went back there for my first free oil change, and was in and out in about 15 min. So far I am ok with the level of service I have received.
