im looking to buy some wheels for my tc. i was looking at getting the black racing mat black 17x7.5 +35 offset (here- http://store.racinglab.com/blraprwh12.html). question is, will these fit with the stock tires, without rub, and will the offset fill up the fenders better. anyone have experience with these wheels? thanks
that is like hte perfect offset.
get a 5 mm spacer and your car will sit flush

to sit very close to flush, you'll need a 5mm spacer up front and 10mm spacer in the rear. you'll have to slightly roll your fenders with that setup.
if you dail in some negative camber and aggressively roll the fenders you can do 10mm front and 15mm rear.
i have 7.5 inch wheels at et33 (sticks out 2mm more than what youre looking at) and it is no where near flush. I put a 5mm spacer in the rear and it still isnt close enough.
compared to stock, 7.5 at et35 will look alot better than stock. you'll be able to fit stock tires perfectly without rubbing (unless youre ungodly slammed to the floor).
