First, I love the car.
However, there are some things I'd do differently.
1. Make BOTH front seats with mechanical memory, it can't cost that much more. Isn't there some cost savings if you can use an identical seat mechanism for both passenger and drivers front seats. Or, if you sell these in Japan, there is already a RHD drivers seat, so use it for the passenger side please. You'll save the money in the parts pipeline by having fewer parts on hand.
2. Taller 5th gear or a 6 speed manual. The manual tranny should get better gas mileage than the automatic.
3. Mute buttons on the steering wheel. The whole head unit, while packed with features is not really intuitive.
4. Did you really need to use a smaller sway bar on the 5 speed cars? Did I read that right, more understeer dialed into the 5 speed. Not everyone is 18 who buys these. I'm old enough to have an 18 year old daughter (no pics will be posted, she isn't 18, heck she's not even 8 yet so you leg humpers take a cold shower please ;) ) so I can drive a car that is neutral or has just a hint of understeer, measured in microns of course. See the previous discussion of lower numbers of different parts means lower costs,
5. Put a power point in the dome light cluster, using something like an RJ45 or an RJ11 so we can power our radar detectors. There is no way I'm going to run wires up there now that you have provided for my safety with a whole bunch of air bags (Thanks for the SAB's BTW.) You already put wires up there for the teriffic moonroof, map lights and dome light. I suppose I can tap one of the light circuits, but it's not switched with the key. Maybe power for the moonroof? I doubt there is a power wire there, just wires to switch the moonroof motor, so that's probably a no-go.
Now you have another accessory you can sell, custom power cords for radar detectors or GPS systems
I'm sure I can think of more, I only have 135 miles on my car in the past 3 days.
Again, I do love the car.
