Just wondering what all y'all listen to in the morning. I always listened to Howard Stern until he left earth-bound radio. While I'm waiting for my Sirius device to arrive I was trying to find something entertaining in the mornings but haven't had any luck. The local replacements for Howard are awful. Dead air would be more exciting just to see if the silence gets broken. The funniest thing (to them) was when a lady that was distraught over losing her husband in that W. Va mining accident said "was" instead of "were"... :tap: :loser:

That's what I usually do on the way home. I just never realized how dead things were elsewhere on the radio.

Got the lights finally, haven't got them on yet. They came with every color bulb but I'll be using the green.. Got a free bottle of wax out of the deal too. Shipping error....

I've been listenin to 106.9 Free-FM. Live 105 sucks in the morning now and 104.9 went Espanol as of 1/1/06 (WTF!!)

106.9 has the Adam Carolla show in the morning and John Londons in the afternoon.

Also use the stock iPod plug in my 06 xB quite a bit...gotta love it!

And If I do listen to the radio it usually is 98.1, oldies in the morning. Sorta matches the box with the Stude hub caps ( low-riderish)

i dont know what to listen to eithier ???i used to switch from howard and the dog house on 106.9 free fm (dog house from wild 94.9)...good choice cf2 im not a fan of adam much and 104.9 went spanish wich was abig wtf here as well..... ksjo got jackes a whiel back ...so im usally on 107.7 the bone or got the sirius on....i satrt with reggae then some raw dog then faction right before i get intoi work ..then i tune the shop sat to buzzzsaw....well hay i guess i do listen to something lol

Yeah, I wasn't a BIG howard fan, but his replacements suck big time! I have nothing to listen to in the morning now, so it's back to CDs...

Thanks for the replies. I listened to Adam Carolla this morning and I can deal with that. The rare occassions I do listen to music radio is usually 94.9 or KMEL, I like the rap/hip-hop but the R&B kills it for me...

Yeah, Fresh Air withTerry Gross, she isn't afraid to ask the tough questions 8) I love NPR - it's so nerdy it's not funny: car talk, science fridays, BBC world news, Jim lehrer, All Things Considered. Jeez, I'm like an old man :lol:

I do NPR or Free 106.9 in mornings and cds in afternoon....used to listen to doghouse but I dont like strawberry or who ever is on it now....Usually cant listen to music first thing in the morning...

I've got my Sirius now and it is awesome. Definitely worth the money. I don't envision buying any CDs for a while. If I hear a song i like I just hit the little heart button and it records it. I was able to listen to Howard's first show, the whole thing and that's something I've been trying to work out for years. It starts recording the show at 3 AM. I tune in the rest of the live east coast feed on the way to work and then bring the S50 with me and listen to the first few hours from the recording. I ended up running out of battery before I ran out of show. Gotta bring the USB charger with me tomorrow.
