Default Shift *****

I want to change my shift **** and just wanted to get some recommendations on any good ones people have tried. Ideally it will be really heavy, but more importantly just have good fit and finish. Thanks

I don't have it, but I know someone that does, the TRD Shift **** is awesome, perfectly weighted and looks great, talk to Hector (toyotaisme), he has it...I don't like the OBX ***** because the aren't weighted properly and because they are made out of metal, which (around here) means toasty hand with permanent burn marks...just an opinion though...

I'm loving the veilside ****:

The skyline I brought over for someone had one of these, and it was very comfortable.

I like the DC Sports and Skunk2 shiftknobs, but they are only for hondas. I'm thinking of getting either the Greddy counterweighted shift **** or the TWM shift **** (along with short shifter) right now...

do you guys (and girls) prefer a light shift **** or heavy?

I am really looking for something that will just fit real well in the car, and feel well in my hand.

I'm using a Hurst T-**** and I love the feel of it. I think I have a pic of it in my profile.

I have the TRD shiftknob (the one that's leather and resembles the stock shape). My only complaint is that the **** still sits a little higher up than I would like. Perhaps the little TRD ball styled one would sit lower. Anyone with that who can comment? Does the short shifter sit lower or does it just give a shorter throw?

i got the trd, feels nice to have some leather in my car... feels like a real shifter now. the shifter looks tall but it screws almost completely to the top of the ****. very nice shift ****, just a little pricey.

the only thing I don't like about the greddy **** is that it's polished....that means it'll show greasy hand prints...

I'm thinking of a **** with recessed buttons for the cruise control. I'm talking to a maker of aircraft stick grips:

about a version with recessed buttons.

oh cmon george we all know that you are going to integrate your missle launcher and mini gun switches into the shift **** to take out any rv's interupting 'spirited driving' during a canyon run and still not miss the downshift. console buttons are such an ergonomic pain.

good idea, I've been using simple SPST switches...
