Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for a friendly advice.
I'm the proud possesor of a Scion tc 2006. I love this car! But...soon I have to relocate in Canada. I just found out that this model can not be accepted in Canada. I know about xA and xB, but looks like there is no chance for tc. I'm very very very sad...because I love my car, has less than 3000 miles.
Do I have any other option beside seling the car?
Does anybody know about any exception?
Thank you

there probably is a trick. i know that canadians going to the states on a TN Visa can keep their car for one year (TN Visas expire after a year) and when they go to canada to reapply at a US embassy they can take their car back into the states. I'll contact TC and RIV and see what they say :)

NIKITA: Good news! It's allowed! http://cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/E/pub/cp/rc4140/rc4140-05e.pdf - page 5, upto 36 month temp import. You'll still need to contact the RIV www.riv.ca

I import cars with a dealership in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and unfortunately the 2005 and 2006 tC is not admissable into Canada, however, the 2007 model is. So maybe you can trade in your 2006 at your local dealer for a 2007. If anyone in Canada wants a 2007 tC, I have 3 for sale that have already been imported.
