because of how high the xB is on rims, if not lowered, i would suseptable to roll overs

head rest tv's are stock...plus DVD...total 17K for it with the same rims...i agree...gimme some rims...

All of the items are standard on the 3.0 including the interior motion-sensing alarm. I'm sure their reasoning behnd the wheels is that people will want to choose their own and wouldn't want the price to be higher and stuck with "stock" rims.

it looks nice, but im not feeling the grill and yes it would be a nice idea to put a set of nice rims for the RS like the did for the tC w/ the RS1.0

Damn, I might have to get an xB. That is nice interior headunit. If someone can leak pictures of the tC 2.0, I can make a decision.

i agree. it needs a set of nice rims and the fog lights too. fog lights are useless but the covers scream "gee, i can't afford something that goes there." it is after all a very limited edition. going all out man!

Your joking right?! There is no chance of roll over with these...no more than any other regular car. They don't because they put all of the money in to the headunit and the dvd screens in the headrest. They learned that mistake from the rs1 tC. No one liked the rims and they were actually hard to sell. I personally liked them but it was a huge part of the cost of the car. They were able to put the money to better use without having to charge a ton for the car. Also, the interior is gray and black (not red and black), just like a basic one which is kinda strange. Maybe they thought the green would be too much on the inside too. I know if I got one I would do leather so it doesn't matter. They did know that there would be a higher risk for them to get broken in to that is why they ahve a security system stock. It isn't a super expensive one but it sounds pretty decent, definitely better than a regular scion security. I think my boyfriend is going to get one. I'm holding out to see what the tC looks like. If it is going to be that blue like they are saying that is the next car I am going to buy.

FYI......the DVD/headrests can be replaced for about $1600. The most recent Crutchfield catalog has the EXACT Vizualogic package in it.

I do like the fact they have decided to go further this time than just a few interior color changes, badging and mirrors. (i.e little stuff) But that color is nasty, i was hoping for a less solid color and more of a pearl green. Possibly darker too. This one is just horrible in my opinion, maybe i will like it better in person but i doubt it.

i think the color pales in comparison to the hot lava and is on par with the solar yellow. thats of course until i see it in person. personally im still happiest with Polar White.

with that said - - randodes shade of green appears ways nicer

are they ditching pioneer? that's an alpine headunit!!!!! and did anyone else notice that the center light is sunken into the headliner???? I also wanna know if that steering wheel can be bought aftermarket for us jdm freaks.

I'm sure the reasoning behind the wheels is that they dont want it to be to expensive considering they already threw all that other expensive crap in it.
I love the color, but I think everything else is crap. That is the ugliest grill ever for the xB, and I just think screens in the headrests are ___ all together. The headunit is cool, but most poeple like to buy there own anyway.
This is the worst RS ever, because it does not have color keyed fabric. I'm sorry but I'm not seeing any red and black fabric, I think your seeing things, its just the regular fabric. Not such a unique car without that unique color fabric. Anyone can get a green paint job, not anyone can get a color keyed fabric like scions.
The color is cool, everything else is stupid.

I think I might buy one for my wife, if there are any on the lots with a 5-speed.

I can't wait to get one or tow in the store! I would own this for sure. I'm on the fence about the grill, but it is a great color.

Can't say if the headunit will play VCDs, but it WILL play DVD audio discs, and that's kind of cool.

Please everyone note that the fabric shown in the above pictures is not the 2006.5 fabric and therefore will not be on the production version of the RS3.0. It won't be green either (which I also am disappointed about), but it will not be the white-flecked 2004-2006 fabric.

yes... and has an ipod connection also from what I read on here... someone back me up just to be certain

i freakin hate this.....they take one unique idea and drag it out until the end! i'm glad i have a polar white...this is getting crazy...i thought it would end with the solar yellow....

scion.com has updated their page with the pics of the xB, also a cool thing you can scroll your mouse over each thing and it describes it. Check it out. Getting excited about mine everyday!!!

Alls i know is im gonna pretty much do a photo shoot when I get mine. So in the next few weeks be prepared for a load of pics of my RS3. :love:
