I just got off the phone with Lund Industries and they told me that they will know in the next two weeks when they will be in full production of the vent visors for the Xb. The price will be around $45.00 maybe a little more for the 4 piece kit. They want to know how many people will be interested so post on here if you are .

She also said their new line of products comes out on Thursday, so she said to call her back later in the week (Friday)...

Speaking of hood shields, I got this from em last week:
In reference to: http://www.deflectashield.com/products/shields/hoodshields.html. But LundLook.com may come out with one. Not sure what the difference is between the two same companies.
"The Concept II is generally only as wide as the hood although there are some exceptions. The Magnum is a wrap style in that is curves around the top of the front fenders also. "Profile" between the two are usually very similar.
Unfortunately we do not plan on offering a shield for this app at this time.
Thank you for your interest in our products.

Would be nice to be JDM all the way, if you can afford it. No harm in getting the same product for a more affordable price, anyway, it's all about choice (and the benjamins!).

Anyway, it seems we've gotten off the subject here.

I'll tell you about my side sun visors. Yes, they did cost a lot but in the long run they were worth it. From the time I opened the package I found them to be well made and very easy to put on.

Each morning I no longer have to pull down my drivers sun shade while driving to work and returning home.

I can open my windows enough to cool my car down on these hot days such as today here in Los Angeles.

The only problem I have is it's harder to clean my windows! You must lower your window to wash and clean them.
Another thought to keep in mind, you still get water into your car. The water just drips over the shade and into the car while driving.

Overall, I would suggests getting a set @ $50.00. Money well spent!

hey if the only thing available is $250 and you really want them...it's not a matter of brand name. there is no other option. sucks, but that's the price you pay for being ahead of the game. in 2 years when every xB has $30 visors on their car it just won't be as cool.

but yeah, i want a set of these. what's the hold up?? i saw them on a white car the other day, they look awesome.

i have the JDM ones.. i like them just fine and i was happy paying the price for them.,

i tried ventshade and lund on other cars before and those are AWESOME companies!

i loved the ones on my old CR-V... i never regretted those, but i like how my jdm ones have a black painted(from the inside) border, and clips that insure the fitment. it kinda keeps the visor at its correct position. very nice quality.. a lot nicer than ventshade, BUT ventshade and lund are AWESOME quality..

i really wanna compare the lund and the jdm ones, but for a fraction of the price.. LUND is a 2 thumbs up option.. come on! 50 bucks.. thats a steal!

Was in N.Y. this past week for work and had a carservice pick us up from JFK. It was raining a little on the ride to the hotel and the Towncar had window visors.

First time I had really taken note of them, although I don't ever recall riding inn a vehicle before this that ever had them. It was cool, got to ride with the windows cracked about an inch to get air with little to no road noise coming through. Could talk and hear on the cell phone pretty easily.

I'll see if Lund come up with theirs before I order the Weatherflectors.

I'm kinda leaning towards the weatherflectors i've had the Ventvisors on other cars/trucks and have had trouble with the tape coming loose, (yes I followed the instructions and cleaned the surfaces)

I think the system the Weatherflectors use may be better, thoughts?

Just put in my order for the weathertech visors. I have them on my Dodge Caravan and they kick ___. I hate the ones that use the tape.

i was bugging the local rep for a hood bug deflector, when he changed the subject.
he said that the weathertech window vents were discontinued  .
something about not liking the mold so they are starting over from scratch.
that means another month or two.

now i don't know if i was being feed bs, so can anyone else confirm this?

well if they're going to make it from scratch, can they copy the E-Sam style?

I just called to check on my order.
Paula said that the Xa visors are being redesigned.
She didnt have a date for those.
The Xb mold is still good and still in use.
They have not received the next shipment of visors in yet.

Update from Weather tech. According to the dude, the backordered shipments are in Montreal, Quebec :D According to him, if things go through customs, Weather tech will have it in-house by friday and possible shipment to the people who bought it either next monday or wednesday. Hmmm, I guess them Canucks are jealous :D

Just spoke to the customer support folks (MacNeil Automotive) and she stated that "the container has arrived, and the contents are being checked in". Soooooooo that means that for those that have ordered the xB Weatherflectors they might be on their way to you by Wednesday....more info to follow.

Lund has released the Bugflector II (P/N 24648) and the inchannel Ventvisors 4 piece set (P/N 194527). Check your local parts store (autozone, pepboys etc.).

Just got off the phone with customer support a MacNeil Automotive (WeatherFlectors), they have a shipment due in around 7 July and again on the 15th. So thats the news on that front. I still haven't been able to find any of the Lund visors locally, has anyone else had any luck?

I got my Weathertech visors last week.
I love them.
One problem.
The provisions in the visors for the little nubs on the front windows. The one on the driverside lines up fine. The one on the passenger side is about 1.5 inches off.
I called and told them.We will see what gets done about it.If anything.
Even if they do anything,I dont think they will ship the corrected ones to us.
