Default TRD Cold Air Intake Part#

after checking our parts and accessory update i finally saw the TRD CAI with a part number. They're selling for $440 parts only and what sucks its not CARB legal. we've been selling the k&n cai for a year waiting for the trd and hoping it would be carb approved. under the disclaimer they said its for offroad use only like every cai out there in the market and its not sold with a warranty.

Model:tC
Year:2005-06
Part# PTR03-21060

It should be #OVRPRYCD666

Very dissapointed with Scion on this one... 440 for something you can buy for half...

it was a joke :OVRPRYCD666
get it , over priced... 666 tru that though, i would have sprung for it if it was carb legal and had a warranty. i mean what is the difference between any other intakes, might as well get a injen for 220 then pay for that crap. sure it includes a bypass, but those are only like 50 bucks more!!

Will that part number fit an '06 xA? All the dealers in my area quit carrying the TRD and mumble something about emissions when pressed. None of the better known manufacturers show anything for the '06 xA. I don't know if the existing models ('04 & '05) will fit or not. I really hate to just wait, but I guess I have no alternative. I'd really like to get one while I can still drive! Thanks

Thanks for the info! Their website doesn't even mention the product. Hate to have to make my own outta PVC pipe & duct tape.
