I was wondering does anybody know if the new xb thats suppose to come out in 07 , will have side or curtain airbags. When it came to the xb this was my only complaint. and more rear cargo room. Reason why I ask about air bags because the Xb is (90 percent sure) going to be my next car and it will probably be a 07 model. I also have two little kids to worry about. Thanks Derrick

 

The Scion that follows the xB (under a new model name) will almost certainly have side airbags, but it is HIGHLY doubtful that there will be an xB with them.

Right now it is uncertain how long the xB will continue, but I personally expect to see the xB discontinued, and the new model in the lineup, in 2007. (That's the purest of speculation, of course...)

 

I can't wait for scion to release this information. With side airbags i would assume scion would raise the cost of the vehicle even more eventually putting it in another class.

 

That last 10 percent for me whether or not i get the xb is the yaris sedan or Fit. They both comes with side and curtain air bags as a option. I leaning toeards the yaris becausea little more back seat room then the Fit. A spec sheet i saw on line said that it will only have 33 inches rear leg and the Yaris has 35.6. Then again the Fit will carry more cargo room than the Yaris. So I don't know I guess i have to wait until it comes out.
