I want to get as many FI scion tc's mileage as possible. anyone with a forced induction setup please post your setup (ZPI, TRD, Dezod, etc) how much boost, and how many miles you have been running it. Anyone who has blown a motor please post as well.

I just want to get an idea of this motors long term reliability on boost as Im sure many potential "tc boosters" would.

I have 3362 miles on the car. SC went on at 2200. And I am running stock boost with an exhaust.

I have some belt slip on the SC belt. And some weird noises. It will be checked this week with my oil change.

I usually get around 24mpg and I drive it at a regular speed. If I beat on it, it can go as low as 19-21mpg for WOT runs.

No blown motor here though.

i get anywhere from 280-320 depending on how i drive.

hah i get around 280 as it is. the best iv ever gotten was like 24mpg haha
i dont know why my tC is such a gass guzzler :(

my friends v6 G6 does better!!

I get about 10mpg in my tC but then again that is with 650cc injectors and me reaming the living crap out of it all the time.. :doh:

As far as durability i was hoping that it would blow up so I could talk the powers to be into putting our stage 1 block in it. We dynoed the thing 153 times in a row in one day in orlando and the dam thing will not break...Oh well I guess that is good news!! :tap:

I am not sure if you are asking mileage or total miles boosted....Our Turbo tC usually get in "normal driving" very similair mileage to stock when you are out of boost the car runs normal..

If you are asking total mileage we have one customer for sure close to the 20k mile range and at least 10-20 in the 5-10k mileage range. There could be more these are just the ones we still talk to on a regular basis.

i got my turbo a year and 5 months ago and i have put about 13k turbo miles on mine at 5psi and now 7psi and it runs great no weird noises i got a good one.
