But seriously - why do crooks always chose/pick/steal/whatever the WORST CARS for car chases... The cars that I have seen that actually put up a fight in a chase was a corvette - which crashed -and a turbo charged/suped up eagle talon/eclipse.....

I've never seen a ferrari... or a lamborghini... or any of the "POSSIBLE CONTENDERS" in a car chase... it's always junk...

Some chase - they were going barely faster than the semi's that were in the far right lane.

I see a slanted rear wiper for that "JDM" look. Factory EM-7 alloy wheels? I also spotted a moon roof. Question: Would the PIT maneuver work only on RWD cars since the intent is to hit the rear corner of the vehicle? According to the story, PIT didn't work on the xB. I wonder if VSC aided the xB driver. :rofl:

The PIT involves deliberately driving the police car into a rear corner of the fleeing vehicle. Properly done, this forces the vehicle to spin and come to a stop. It can only be used in places where there are no other vehicles around and where there are no curbs that might cause the suspect vehicle to flip over.

The Talon wasn't suped up. It was pretty much stock as the very thing I noticed on it was the stock doul/double tip exhaust. I use to own an Eclipse (same exact car). No suped up Talon is going to have the stock exhaust still, hehe. A stock Talon will pretty much not have an issue to any cruiser unless the cruiser is not stock. But even then those cruisers may have a hard time keeping up with the talon/eclipse/laser that's why they called in the mustang and even he had a hard time, lol (if this is the video I'm thinking about). And I agree with the CRX, but then again these things aren't planned abviously in the real world.

i saw this chase.. i even had to check to make sure it wasnt my car on the tv.. the cops even tried to pit the car at the start but it didnt work

maybe the ones who nab the quick cars get away before the news choppers get there

cop car's are not fast. a hopped up honduh could win one. a camaro , or a LONG list of cars could.

that car chase was hella boring and too long drawn out, even the video i down loaded i fast forward 99% of it and even after they gave up was boring too no action what so ever!!! :(
