Default Check out my new seat covers Updated...more pics

I was looking to change the interior color of my box but I didn't want to pay $900 for leather seats. I went to the swap meet and was quoted 400 by the seat cover lady. (this didn't include holes for the headrests or seat belts) I was surfing eBay and found this company...SeatCoverFactory dot com. I sent them an email and asked if they could do different colors. They could and did. I place my order on a Thursday afternoon and they arrived the following Monday. I installed them the other night and I am extremely happy with them. The outside of the covers are velour and the inserts are vinyl. The fit is awesome and the holes for seat belts and headrests are all cut and bordered. There are even velour covers for the headreasts. The 60/40 split rear seat fit perfectly and although took a bit of effort to install was well worth the time spent. I saved a ton of money and I think, ended up with a seat cover set that doesn't really look like seat covers. Check them out and see what you think.....

The front

The rear

Through the windshield

I added a Wheelskins leather steering wheel cover and found a leather shift boot in white on eBay.
The back seat covers are held on with the strongest Velcro I've ever seen in my life. They look a little funky until I put the cargo cover back in.

They even send you three pages of instructions specific to the Box with photos!

And the front covers have holes cut out for the hooks, map pockets and side pockets.

The seat covers, custom made in two days and shipped came to a whopping total of $189.00! There are even map pockets on the back and sides of the front covers. They cut out holes for the hooks on the back of the front seats and they sent me three pages of installation instructions with photos of the process done on an xB! I can't say enough good things about this company. One of the headrest covers had a small problem with the stitching and they sent a new one out the same day I told them about it. Awesome to work with.

Wow, those look hot. On thier website, the seat covers have these random ovals on the sides of the covers. Did you have to get yours custom made in addition to getting a different color? I want something like you have for my tC. Also, how tight of a fit are they? I've had seat covers before that looked like crap cause there were wrinkles in the fabric because they didn't fit 100% snug.

I sent them an email and asked to have the seat covers made without the "bumps" and I did chose the colors. They are great to work with. The covers fit like a glove. They are two piece covers, one for the bottom of the seat and one for the top. The tops use a Velcro closure to hold the cover on and the bottom cover uses plastic buckles and 2 Velcro straps. They are totally adjustable and the fit is amazing.

Can you get the headrest covers in leatherette material to match the inserts? That would be super cool...

You would have to ask them about that. I think they would be more difficult to make since they have to stretch over the headrest. The one thing I wish I had thought of before I ordered was checking to see if they could do the headrests in white velour. I like these covers so much I'm ordering a set for my other three vehicles.

I just emailed them to ask...

Do the vinyl inserts match the leather wheel and boot covers pretty well? Looks great in the pics...

I want to do this but in black/red. Seems very reasonable compared to Katzkin ect.

I think they match well, the seats have just a hint of pearl to them. The shift boot and wheel cover are a perfect match. There is no difference to the eye with all three items. I looked at the stuff from Katzkin and it's supa cool but a little more than I wanted to spend. Gotta spread the dough around for other mods. Just put in the Megan strut tower bar this morning and I'm working on the ground wire kit now.

Those really look fantastic, I'm sold.

But...

You got white? You have blue sport peddals and the white will get dirty real easy. Not ******* ya, just pointing things out. The covers really do look awesome.
