I believe he said his was "bone stock". If you have wheels, tires, and a bunch of mods, your mileage is gonna be different.

Mileage is a very hard thing to nail down. It's difficult to fill the tank consistantly, and therefore mileage can vary from tank to tank. I've seen as high as 33 and as low as 26 with normal suburban driving. Normally, it's 27-28.

After I hit the 10k mile mark I'll calculate a long-term mileage figure.

mileage varies a LOT with the way you drive, when you shift, how many hills there are in your area, how much you stop and go, etc. i notice a drastic change when i drive on the freeway for a long time, or stay on the streets for a whole tank. i have over 27,000 miles on my car and i have gotten anywhere from 20mpg up to 35mpg. it just depends on so many conditions. hard accelerating really eats up the gas, which is to be expected. still, 20mpg is not so bad. full size trucks and some muscle cars get like 4-5mpg when you get on the gas.
