Has anyone done this? The only reason I ask is I just bought the megan header, and I'm concerned as to whehter the shaft that goes to the supercharger will clear the pipes, because the two to the right are slightly angled up.
Works fine, Tikbhoy has done is sucessfully.

just make sure you do it before the sc install.

it will clear the shaft BUT the rightmost pipe will be really close to the hex nut.
you will have to get a set of nut/bolt/washer/locknut for the lower brackets. you cant use the OEM bolts on the header.
BE VERY CAREFULL taking out the AFR sensor, mine came out stripped. use alot of WD40 and some sweet kisses or else your going to be 200$ broke.

yes :P if not tell the tech not to put on the heat shield since thats a pain in the butt to take off.
another thing is the header gets really hot! so i suggest putting heat blanket/wrapped/coated to it.
good luck

Why wouldn't the OE bolts work with the lower bracket. From the install pics of the DC header, they seem to, and the megan header looks identical in that regard. If the stock ones won't work, then what size bolt will I need?

even if you manage to take off the threaded bolts from the OE header it wont thread in the megan because its not threaded. you can stil use the same nut and buy a pair of metric bolt and some washers.
the brakets are there for a reason, take your time and do it right.
