I'm probably going to need a 12" ported box here pretty soon within the next couple of months so i'm seeing who knows how to build one!

Setup:

Alpine Type R (2ohms) 1500w
Alpine MRD-605 mono @ 600w

Oh yea, does anyone know how to set the gain, and all that stuff the right way with a multimeter?

any of these people do custom fiberglass? Or is this all wood boxes? I am guessing from your words jon the friend does fiberglass. Can he hook a brotha up in a few months.

 

I'm no pro but i've been building boxes for a while. I'm the buy a 12 pack of beer and come over and let's build a box guy! No fiberglass work all vinyl and carpet. If anyone needs some help let me know.

Yes he does do fiberglass.......and paint if he still has his equipment.

if what I am doing right now (or trying too) doesn't work I will need a good alternative.

 

i used to work at a car audio shop for almost 5 yrs. I did alot of fiberglass work, but most boxes i built for customers was made of MDF, due to the extra expense and time of fiberglass work.

the box i made for my xb is MDF, fiberglass, and plexyglass.
