View Full Version : Whats the best type of strutbar KickAssKishan 01-22-2006, 05:10 PM and is the change very noticible? SquallLHeart 01-22-2006, 06:24 PM i like my greddy. marinoTC 01-23-2006, 04:16 PM i like my cd bar. performance wise. unless you are doin some hard cornering there really is no use for it. just looks Dr_Isotope 01-24-2006, 07:16 AM The best one for the tC is the one that looks the best to you, literally. There is very little performance impact with any of the bars. xbbscion 01-24-2006, 07:37 AM My friend has the greddy and loves it. krdshrk 01-24-2006, 02:39 PM The best one is your personal preference on looks. TRD, Hotchkis, DC Sports, Greddy, etc.... Whatever you think looks best. There's not much difference in how they perform. lovemysciontc 02-06-2006, 03:54 AM my brother has greddy, brags to me everyday about it lol, but i cant say anything back because it is amazing happyricefob 02-06-2006, 04:22 AM all strutbar will increase ridigity... it all comes down to brand, price, and look retrodrive 02-06-2006, 05:43 AM DC Sports looks like it had the design for most rigidity. ricexizxgood 02-07-2006, 08:13 AM Yea the DC Sports one is not too expensive too PrettyniceB 02-07-2006, 10:41 AM Better handling on turns comes from a drop in ride height or Strut/tower bars? Since a couple of you are saying the bars don't really make to much of a difference. Greddy and DC so far on on top of this list hawgs74 02-13-2006, 03:39 AM Tanabe -- great price, great look HOU-TEXTC 02-20-2006, 04:59 AM I second the Tanabe. Scott8 02-25-2006, 04:56 PM Anyone have the Greddy Rear bar installed? I just got mine yesterday and am wondering how much cutting I am going to have to do to make it work. Any pictures would be great!!! TCgetonmylevel 02-28-2006, 03:55 PM i dont think you have to cut at all to make the rear sway work, i saw a pic of it a while ago...looked like all interior was kept no modifying... Scott8 02-28-2006, 05:45 PM The rear strut towers are covered by the thin rear panel covers. I cut 2 little slices and forced the brace arms right through. I was scared that I would have had to do a lot of cutting, but it went really smooth. Looks really nice, except I now need to shave down my amp rack to have them sit nicely. More work :tap: nautyblu06 03-15-2006, 01:35 PM Here's a link to someone who has the GREDDY rear strut bar installed. If ur willing to cut the carpet, it doesn't look bad at all. http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=110161 ack154 03-15-2006, 07:26 PM I think this thread has all of the strut bar info we could need: http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=90916 |
