I'm going to have black rims with a silver lip put on. When I do, I'd figure I'd paint
em. When the temp warms up a little.. (the plan)

I am about to do this too. I think i am either gonna paint them white or blue but i guess this is personal preference. But i think that those would look the best.

i had white at first, but that got dirty very very fast!! so after painting it white twice, i decided to paint them black and it never looks dirty.
just sharing my experience with you, but i agree, white looks the best!

What color should I paint my calipers..........
YOU should do PINK CALIPERS
White calipers will look awful quickly unless you use a clean metallic pad...

I just talked to a guy today at Checker Auto Parts who did his in white. He said they looked great until he drove the car for a week. He also said he spent a ton of time trying to keep them clean and never got them to look as great as they did on that first day "They always looked nasty". From his mistake we could learn... But where is the fun in that.

Why'd you have to go and say that, I was thinking that too when I thought.... Ask an opinion post. But then I was like I'm only want to do this once, (twice if I just F them up somehow)
But seeing how "They always looked nasty" And I'm a $2 dollar car wash kinda guy for the most part. WHITE is now X'ed of the list, don't need to redo something three times to get the best match.
But Great input/save!

Id say go black. They will almost disappear behind the wheels and give it a very clean look. In my experience the best colors for calipers are the primary colors (red, yellow, blue) silver and black. I look at calipers all day long in person, emails and magazines and I havent seen any other colors that look right. If you want them to be noticeable behind the black wheels something with a lot of contrast will be best which pretty much leaves red or yellow.

Nice! What kind of slotted disks are those?
The only exception to your statement above is gold. Gold looks great on some cars/bikes. :)

Go with black. Would look really sharp on SW. It'll have that stealth look.

The BBK has a list price of $1795 with red, black or silver calipers and slotted rotors. Drilled rotors and other colors are available at extra costs.
Here is the red as can be seen on the Celebrity Race tC's:

Get them chrome plated or wrap them in CF...or do one side each way...or do one red, one blue, a yellow and a green...it'd be super cool—no one else would have anything like it...oh, sorry....
Its early and I forgot that it doesn't matter to me what color stock calipers are.

I'd go with silver, it'll compliment black and white nicely. And it won't show the dirt as badly as other colors.

^^^^ you know what. I like I said, I was going
1.green
2.yellow
3. of something?
But I just say this pic of a car in motion with the wheels blurred
and in the blurryness of silver, it came to me "silver"
Cause the black rims will sort of disappear with the spin
and The silver lip and the (repainted 1.choice) silver on
the caliper will be constant, show and match.
So 8 days later now I think silver has moved up the list
Some colors maybe better for sitting still and other for motion?
I don't know, can't make up the best match yet.
