Default BEST rim/tire--2006 BlackSand tC w/(Kaminari Bodykit)

Just wondering on people's opinions, i've seen alot of nice wheels on here but alot of the tC's have been colors besides black.
I'm trying to stay away from chrome seeing how they don't usually look good on black tC's

Any opinions?

bronze if your looking for a JDM style look, gunmetal/anthracite looks good.....what is your budget, that is a big factor in what you can get, and what size and width?

check out tires.com, or tire rack.......
as long as you have a general idea, those are good spots to start looking.
for 1700 or so you can get a pretty nice set up, you could probably get some decent 18's with tires for under 1200.00
try edge racing too......

Foose Speedster looks really nice.the 18" chrome goes for around 1700w/ tires which seems to be a good deal

well 18"s are much cheaper.
im lowering it.and im going with a bodykit which is all gonna be pretty expensive

there's about a 25$ difference between 19"s and 20"s and i dont wanna go that high(performance wise)

I dont like 18" Chrome.especially on a tC
I'm sticking with like a black/gunmetal look

looks much better especially with the Kaminari kit

19" tires cost significantly more than 18" do to keep the same total diameter.

price my friend.

I AM only 18.lol
purchasing: Kaminari 4 piece Urethane kit
BSP Body kit paintjob
PIAA LED foglamps
Honeycomb MeshGrill
TRD lowering springs
Painting calipers green or red
(rims here)
Side panel and hood vinyls

If i were getting 19"s..i would just go right to 20"s(which is too expensive for me right now)

The performance is going to suck with 19"s and 20"s as well.

Well my old car (1990 camry) had 17'' KR5 katana rims til they got stolen. I plan to get the same ones. i was thinking no bigger than 18'' because i will be losing power to the wheel. but 19's sure do look nice! 235mm??? or is it still 225. how about with the TRD drop, will it have any problems? please let me know! no response delays or anything? better traction yes?

Well i like 19"s. Like i said before, they're almost the same price as 20"s and i would with those over 19"s.Secondly, the price. If you read above it's gonna be alot of $ for everything whihc is why i kinda wanted to stay with 18"s.

It does affect performance,19" and 20" takes performance away from your wheels along with traction, braking, rubbing, etc..The area that i live in isn't all that friendly and 18"s would be the better choice for bump/pothole issues...

Not sure in fact if the TRD drop is a good idea hence the Kaminari kit i just ordered along with 18" i think like 235/35 bties.gotta figure em out

OK. good feed back. I think I'll go 18'' I don't wanna be pushing the pedal more or sending more troops to IRAQ for pointless gas for an inch.... no thanx! not at $2.57 a gallon. I have the factory body kit (I wish i would have seen the kaminari kit before i got mine) but it's cool and I think I got about 4'' of clearance, I dunno how much 22mm is but thats what TRD is givin, I think its like one inch or one-n-a-half... Performance is more important to me than rim size ya know. Thanx again!
