Thanks for the help GeniusGZA 04-30-2004, 06:00 PM im in the process of trying to do this too, i would think you would just change the hubs :?: Silencei2 04-30-2004, 06:23 PM Yea, all you do is change the hubs which require finding other hubs like the xB. I know from my research on Integra Type R's (since the Type R has a 5 lug bolt pattern and any other model has the 4 lug bolt pattern) that changing the hub is all you need to do but finding a similar hub would be the problem ghost 04-30-2004, 07:51 PM You will also need new rotors. Why not just buy adaptors? Andrew Edit: Brain Fart dub_box 05-01-2004, 12:07 AM Why would you like to change the bolt pattern? What real significance could it make anyway? to answer your question= try the 2003-2004 Corolla S model. It is 5 on 100mm and everything should bolt up clean. You will end up with larger front rotors but still have drums and the rear. TheRedBox 05-01-2004, 12:22 AM Why not just buy adaptors? exactly what i was thinking. djimpak 05-01-2004, 04:31 AM You will end up with larger front rotors but still have drums and the rear. or you can convert the rear drums to disc.. chobits 05-01-2004, 05:50 AM so where to buy this "adaptor" thing? and how much is it? I wanna get my friend's Volks LE-37 off his Prelude He sold his car dub_box 05-01-2004, 06:37 AM [quote="chobits"]so where to buy this "adaptor" thing? and how much is it? After you buy a 1 1/3" adapter (if you could find a 4 lug to a 5 lug adapter) where on this God's earth could you find a wheel with a +70mm offset. Don't listen to this adapter BS, I sell them and I am here to tell you the application won't work. ghost 05-01-2004, 03:03 PM After you buy a 1 1/3" adapter (if you could find a 4 lug to a 5 lug adapter) where on this God's earth could you find a wheel with a +70mm offset. DJ_SpaRky 05-02-2004, 07:36 PM hey guys i was thinking of the bombnst swap ever, just visualize it, front drums! Talk about Old Skool. Anyways, If you really want to do anything, do it right the first time, I agree with dub box, do a complete rotor/hub/drum swap to get 5x100 bolt pattern, but you're still looking at the same kinda wheel as 4x100, as both are Japanese. Just my $0.03 short of a Nickel. |
