^^fitment rest upon the installers shoulders, as there are no pre-drilled holes in the fenders. You will have to align and drill your own holes.

Well, guess you guys are going to have to wait a little longer for pics. Seems that there was a mix up, and AIT sent me the wrong hood. :cry: They sent me the OEM CF hood, and not the one with the vent. Waiting on the guy to call me back to see what needs to be done.

The shipping company will pick the hood back up tomorrow between 10-4pm. When it gets back to AIT, then they will send us the correct hood. Playing the waiting game some more.

Update:

The shipping company came right at 4pm to pick up the hood. So, it's on it's way back to AIT in Cali. As soon as they get it, they will send out the correct hood.

Brian @ RacingSolution just e-mailed me today to let me know the CF lip shipped today. But I think he accidently got a number wrong, because the DHL site can't find it.

Anyhow, that's the latest. After install and a wash, there will be pics ASAP.

If and when a company comes out with an OEM style CF front bumper, trust me, we will have that too. :P But it's kinda hard to have a CF front bumper, when no one has made it don't you think? About getting one specially made, 4 words, "I live in Tennessee", not quite BOOMING with special shops.

Don't mind the Green tape. After trying to see how the fitment would be, I scratched the paint on the bottom of the bumper. So, I lined it with painters tape, and test fitted it again.

Just a little update with us. AIT is shipping out the correct hood for us probably tomorrow. I will call Friday for a tracking #. I expect it sometime in the middle of next week. Then that weekend, I will be installing everything.

RacingSolution.com is selling this kit. Make sure you tell them Rhythmnsmoke sent you. :P They are out of stock on the CF kits. There are two versions of the rear, they made a 2 piece version, and then a 1 piece. I think they did away with the 2 piece version because it wasn't accepted that well. So, all kits from now on have a one piece rear.

But yeah, they expect to have more of this kit in CF coming probably mid Feb. We will be picking up the CF side skirts and rear when they become available.

So far the inventory of CF goes as this:

Fenders
Front lip (although we wish it was an entire OEM bumper in CF, but the lip was the next best thing)

B-piller appliques

CF to be added at a later date:

Side skirts
Rear lip
APR GT-200 spoiler
Hatch door garnish(to much work to do the whole hatch. worried about the integrity of the rear hatch if it gets messed with to much)
Step plates

That pretty much wraps up the CF pieces. I have been eyeballing those CF 2-gauge pillers someone posted (have to do a search to find the post).

Also I will black out the spokes on our stock wheels. That will be temporary till we score some new wheels.

I have the # to the terminal, so I might call and tell them I'll just come pick it up, because if it arrives tomorrow, then it won't be till Friday before they deliver it. *Update* I was expecting the hood to arrive at the terminal sometime this morning, but it has not arrived yet. I called the shipping terminal, and the guy said it was in Memphis which is about 3hrs from here. He thought it should be at the terminal tomorrow. Which would mean that if it was to get here tomorrow, they would call tomorrow to schedule a drop for the next business day. Which would be Monday, as they are not open on Sat. :eyebrow:

SOOO....what I did was tell the guy to put a hold on it at the terminal, and I will go pick it up tomorrow when it gets there. Otherwise we would be waiting till Monday to get it.

*UPDATE* The most anticipated piece has ARRIVED! The last puzzle to complete the front end transformation of our BSP is now sitting in the computer room. Sometimes I sit back and think "Do we really own this"....."YEEEAAAHHH WE DO!" There is a MAJOR + that I wasn't expecting when I unvailed the hood. If you remember "Spray" has the same hood. And when he took pics of his, there was wrinkles in the CF weave on the sides of the vent.

WELL...I'm HAPPY to report there is NO Wrinkles in our hood....WHOOHOO!

Now, there is one Minor - in terms of cosmetic appearance. There is a scratch in the clear coat on one side of the hood. I'm not stressing over it, cause I think it can be buffed out. If not, then I will have another layer of clear coat dousted on it to make it FLAWLESS. Well, enough with my rambling...pics below

Tough work lining up the hood with the fenders with the body.

Well since Travis is still in the garage slaving away I figured I would give everyone an update as of right now. By the way, this is his girlfriend..lol He is just about done with the second fender being put on. Clayton, a friend of ours that we met on here has since stopped by to help out since it is entirely WAY TOO cold for me to be out there! lol Travis has said it will be done tonight, but I'm kind of skeptical about that but I think the fenders have just given him a hard time being he has to drill holes himself so hopefully after those are finished the process with speed up some. I hope anyways, I do need my car for work tomorrow lol Well guys there's your update as of right now. Enjoy!

OK guys...update status. I started work around 9:45AM and it is now 1:34AM, and I am exhausted. My hands feel like they are about to fall off. I think I need to invest in one of those tube heaters..lol. I have two pairs of socks on, and my toes are tingling.

Whoever said to be prepared for tweaking, you AINT KIDDIN! This is definetly not for the Faint at Heart installer. The fitment is a b!tch. It has taken one whole day just to install, and it will take another whole day before I am Satisfied with the fitment. I think I might have a solution (to at least make it halfway decent). It's not going to be perfect, so don't be to harsh on my install when I'm all said and done.

But you just wouldn't believe how BAD A$$ it looks. The work is a pain, and I would NEVER EVER attempt this EVER AGAIN SO LONG AS I SHALL LIVE! But if you asked me does the outcome meet your expectations...I would say HELL YEAH! She is a beaut ladies and gents.

Not to brag or anything, but I just know this is going to be a rolling attraction. If anyone else with a BSP is thinking of CF fenders....GET THEM (but have a shop install them).

Sorry for the lack of pics, it's been one winterful day, and standing in below freezing weather just to get pics is not my thing. Fitment Massaging will commence tomorrow. Stay Tuned!

PS...Don't work on your car in a garage that's not heated during the winter. And don't install all the your stuff at one time. Put them on as they come.

You can't tell from the pics, but I'm having to do a lot of fabrication on the hood, headlights, and fenders. Everytime you make it to the next step, you have to take two steps back. The fenders and hood were perfectly matched, then I put the headlights back in, and they were just way off. So, then I had to take the fenders back off, and install the headlight and them fenders back on and muscle the fitment. I'm still working non-stop on it. 2 days and counting.

Minor is an understatement....lol. You have to drill your own holes out. It comes with indentions to suggest where you should drill. But I found myself making new holes. At this point, the hood is the only piece that is off somewhat. I feel that it's the best ONE man can do out of his garage! I don't have any sorta frame aligner, or heavy duty equippment, so it was all the might that I had. And for the circumstances, I feel it is satisfactory.
