I agree that is a bit overkill but it is pretty sweet looking, I have seen some hummers with 20-22" wheels and they are just too small for such a big peice of crap.

If I was going to waist all that cash and gas I would go with either a nice Yukon or Denali and some 22-24", wonder what a 28" tire goes for.. .... i would guess somewhere in the $800 range.

28"s ain't ____ if your at stock height. Bagged on 28's would be much more impressive. Or better yet, how about this bagged AND BODYDROPPED Hummer on 26"s -

NOW the rubber bands look appropriate with it dragging the ground. 8)

Not to pick nits, but if they are 28", they wouldn't really be dubs, would they? :wink:

No caps allowed in titles, and a 'Dub' = 20", not 28".

I think I've just seen the ugliest and the second ugliest cars in my life. And I like H2's look.

Not True! TIS Wheels (Twenty Inches Strong) are ALL called Dub wheels by the manufacture of the wheels. I guess their claim is that they are at least twentys and chrome. And they are sponsored in part by DUB magazine. I know that the term Dub was short slang for a $20 bag or double bag as it was known. dub

Dubs = 20's
Double-Dubs / Double-Deuces = 22's

TIS is just a name, as is DUB Wheels

Nice try, but not quite! After all, there is even a brand called DUB also. What you say might have been true about 4 years ago.
Times change.

Definitely a nod to the tuner crowd with the handmade wood spoke wheels, gas lights and brass trim. And Leather interior was STANDARD!

double-dubs? I've never witnessed a 40" rim. :)

I prefer Deuce Deuce's. I actually own a set if anyone wants a pair for an explorer, S-10, blazer/jimmy/bravada or a jeep grand (93-98)\.... ;)

Not really a big deal, unless your overall diameter is much over stock.
